ICYMI: An exhibition game has been scheduled at IFCU on Friday,
Oct. 27 (Time: TBA) against Div. III College of Staten Island.
They are part of the CUNY system. I know many will grouse about
playing a D-III team, but it's only an exhibition and does not
count in the stats or get reflected in RPI/BPI rankings. I
think that Coach P. wanted to at least have the team exposed to
some other team (i.e. not just teammates) prior to facing
Maryland at the Coliseum. I think it's a good thing, gives us
fans another game to see at home, and we certainly can't
complain given the outrageously tough OOC schedule the Seawolves
will be playing.

Thanks for relaying it – I did miss it! Love that we'll have a
tune-up, and it makes up for the fewer home games and odd
scheduling of the Brown game.

Some good stuff.. I think SB finishes in 3rd place this year.
Not bad when half the roster is filled with freshman's..

UC as starting point guard? Really? I don't see it; think
he's much better off the ball. He needs to take ball to the rim
more this year, and get away from launch mode, IMO.

i really liked the part about how boals focuses on character
first, and remarked how difficult it can be to get kids into SB,
even with a spot on the bball roster. well done coach! :)

Another pre-season ranking, that I agree with. I just don't see
how this year's Seawolves team, even with the departures of
Woodhouse and Nyama, gets out of top 4 as other pre-season
rankings suggest. I think Yeboah and Sturdivant will be logging
big and quality minutes. These two are ready to step up and to
carry the team. Ochefu will compete for ROY. We may not be 2nd
again but we won't be dropping out of top four. Vermont is for
real. Albany is guard heavy. And every other team in AE has
weaknesses and holes.
