I guess that UA win locks up second place for SBU...with a very
remote chance at first. Crazy. Keep clawing and scratching
       Seawolves!

We tried hard to lose this game early on . Cant believe the lack
of support for Hartford no one showed up . Well back home
Saturday night for the season finale before the playoffs.

No Ross, no Dunne, no Carroll, no real problem. Hartford hung in
there with its skeleton crew. Supposedly Ross and Dunne are back
this weekend so we got lucky.
No worse than the 2 seed. Vermont magic number is just one.
Couldn't we win our next two, have Albany win at UVM, and play
for the 1 seed at their place in the finale? I'm pretty sure we
would have the tiebreak if we won. Fun to think about.

Imagine superfan from the ACC or Pac12 stumbled through the
channels to SBU/Hart tonight during one of those long droughts
(keyed by that Mitchell 3 that missed by ten feet) and heard the
announcer excitedly exclaim: "With a win tonight, SBU is
trending up for a conference championship and #1 seed in the AE
       tournament!"
       Say WHAT???

SB reminds me of the "Even Steven" Seinfeld episode. Yeboah and
Saintel numbers have gone done but Sekunda and UC pick up the
scoring to even things out. Sturdivant's numbers have been a
little off and along come Petras and Nyama.

Sturdivant's offensive game has disappeared. He just can't bang
with the big guys in the paint. Again, he just doesn't have the
strength to work his post game against legit big men. The lack
of a reliable post presence is a big problem this year. Ochefu
next year will get an opportunity early on to earn some big
       minutes.
Mitchell came in with the reputation as a good shooter. I
unfortunately haven't seen it- unorthodox shooting motion and
all, it just hasn't clicked for him. He does give 110% on
defense so I don't have a huge problem with him as long as he
       doesn't shoot a lot.
Yeboah really has fallen out of the rotation. He and Nyama have
similar games- as Nyama has gotten more and more confident, it
was inevitable that Yeboah would have his minutes cut. Yeboah is
still pretty raw but Nyama is clearly the better player right
now- he's really impressed me with his growth. He's still one of
the most athletic guys I've seen at Stony Brook.
Sekunda will be a big part of our success- I want him to remain
confident as our postseason hopes hinge on him making big shots.
Woodhouse had a quiet first half but did his thing in the second
       half.
Overall good win. This year continues to be a pleasant surprise.
       Let's keep winning.

Perfect pop culture analogy. That's what's happening. Look out –
here come Yeboah and Sturdy again!

The impressive thing about Sekunda tonight was how on two
possessions (maybe three) he answered a Hartford three by
knocking down a three for SB. Gonna need that against Albany and
Vermont in the conference tournament. Will probably need it in
       the first round as well.

I really hope this game gets Iroegbu more confidence- he hasn't
been afraid to shoot but if we want to dance, we need him to
produce. Happy to see him hitting some threes.
