Great job by the Seawolves with 7 different players scoring at
least 7 points. Nice job by Petras!

Petras was the man tonight. He broke his cherry with, what i
believe, was his first dunk of his career, and he made a steal
for a basket. The place was on fire!!!!!!

Game 24: v. UMass Lowell 2/6

Enjoyed this one. We had them at arm's length the whole night
and it never felt like the lead was in jeopardy.
Weird one though. Two Sturdy dunks, one or two Petras dunks,
Iroegbu dunk, Sekunda drive and score, two Iroegbu blocks ...
just a strange one. Lots of firsts and lasts.
One thing that has bothered me. Jake, when you grab an offensive
board, MAKE A DECISION. He always just holds onto the ball.
Either go up with it or kick it out.
Good to see the three go down. That said, I do love seeing
Iroegbu go to the goal instead of settling for the three every
time. It's just something else for the defense to think about
rather than knowing he's just out there chucking it. It's been
refreshing to see and maybe gives him a little more breathing
room when he does shoot the trey. Loved the dunk and then the
block.
Saintel finding a home offensively running the baseline.
Basically don't like him shooting otherwise. Jucos are rising up
though.
With the POY discussion, I wonder how much of Thomas' stats have
been put up in garbage time. 24, 10 and 5? Please. Quietest
monster line ever. All that said, I would love him on our team.
Just a steady force who knows his limits and knows how to use
his body.
It's looking more and more like the 3 seed is our floor and the
2 is our ceiling. Three games up on Albany and UNH, each of
which we swept the season series from, we would have to COLLAPSE
to fall back to the 4/5 line (UA/UNH quarter makes for a tough
semi for UVM). I would be comfortable getting UML here in the AE
quarters - young, small, thin, no reason not to attack. I'd be
less comfortable with Bingo, the current 7.

Good all around game and yes a strange one. Guys doi9ng things
you least expect from them . The UC dunk or the Petras steal and
coast to coast dunk are highlight material.

I agree, UVM will have a harder game vs UA/UNH, if SB and UMBC
hold onto the 2nd and 3rd seeds. I would rather face UMBC than
UA/UNH in AE semi.
