Oh man. You know Albany wants this one after its meltdown here a
month ago. The question is, how much of that second half – or
really the second half of the second half – will we see from our
guys, and how will Albany have adjusted?
The collapse against us began with Nichols in the game, and it
only worsened when he fouled out. I still don't see him as an
elite ballhandler. That they folded like that makes me wonder
what kind of leadership they have too. That was just something
I'd never seen before, even on TV.
Nichols and Cremo were known scorers, but they seem to have
found a third in Charles, whose minutes and production have
spiked over the last month. He's gone for at least a dozen in
four of the last five games, including a season-high 15 on
Wednesday. Charles missed most of last season with a heart
condition, and there was talk of a knee injury in December but
he seems to be playing through it.
Although Albany's righted the ship a bit, winning five of six,
the one game was a stinker against Vermont. They lost 60-49, and
Charles and Nichols had to be separated by teammates after an
on-court scuffle afterward. In-fighting! I'm not sure all of
Albany's issues have been solved, but they played well enough
against us for 30 minutes to think this one's going to be
       awfully tough.
You may recall that UA 0-3 in conference. They exacted revenge
against Lowell earlier this week, and they'd like nothing better
than to draw within a game of us in the standings.

You know its a big game when Peter Hooley invites Jameel Warney
to a friendly wager on twitter and Warney accepts!

i have to think part of the meltdown had to do with our depth.
always a battle even when the score's not close. estonians 82,
       albanians 71

UA playing tight D and forcing shots close to the clock. cremo
       has a lot of tools.
solid first half. all woody again.
kept UA to 3 points in the first five min. im not in love with
saintel shooting the three, the last few games he gets the looks
but hasnt hit one. mitchell nice steal for a break and layup.
       always a battle with UA.

Another amazing half by Woodhouse, who is a clear leader for MVP
of the Conference! Night after night he carries this team with
absolutely no help from his sidekick - how is Woodhouse not
       doubled on every possession?

iroegbu making a case for more minutes with a big second half.
then woody with a deep trifecta for a 12 pt lead.
nice steals in the second half which again goes to our depth,
       and effort.
UA with four starters at 3 fouls, 10min left.
nyama having a really good game tonight.

nichols fouls out and it really costs UA. brown can be a real
crybaby in every game i seem to watch. then stire fouls out.
woody woody woody. im starting to think he was merely
       overshadowed by puriefoy and warney.
not a complete game but nevertheless, a win in the capital
district is a win in the capital district. boals impressive so
far, just one blip really against bingo. its not every year we
get to sweep the danes in the reg season.
we might see these guys again. GO SB

Woodhouse in their prayers before they go to bed!

I agree about Woodhouse . The rest of the team just seems to
back off when he is out there. Need him down the stretch but
we need other guys to step up. Sekunda looks lost out there
lately we need his threes .
