we should be patient and give him time to develop. This is his
first year..I am sure he will develop into a starter.. and if
not then at least a good backup PG. Not everyone becomes a star
player and there can be only be 5 starters. A good team is more
than 5 starters.. quality deep rotation is very important.

Somebody brought it up elsewhere. I wonder what would happen if
they stuck Almonacy at the 2, ran him around a bunch of screens
and/or put him in a corner, and told him to fire away. I just
don't see him as a 1 here – even if we need him there this year
just to give Woodhouse a blow – but couldn't he be who Iroegbu
is/was at the beginning of the year, with maybe even more
ability to create/make a shot? I'm really surprised by his
limited role – not now because we've seen him but just based on
what I saw in the preseason when he looked really good and
really comfortable.
Almonacy is way too small to play the 2. I think Almonacy only
fits as a backup PG at Stony Brook. I really feel his best fit
would be at a DII school. Also, I'm surprised that he doesn't
have more speed and quickness.
I wouldn't be surprised if Campbell and/or Almonacy aren't on
the team next season.
Nobody's been a bigger skeptic of him since the season started
and I too have thought that he may transfer out. I just have not
been impressed. I keep thinking there's a switch that he can
flip where he goes from being incredibly timid and overmatched
to going on the offensive. I think he wants to score, but
without a real first step and an inability to finish at the rim,
he's basically a shooter. I actually think he's afraid to make a
mistake, which is why he's so gunshy (who knows ... just
speculation). I think he can really shoot it if given the chance
and he's looking for his shot – as I said, basically Iroegbu,
but I think he's a better shooter. Granted, if Almonacy's
playing the 2, that means he's defending the 2 also, which is
bad news, but can he provide any kind of offense in bursts off
the bench?
I'm grasping for straws but I'd love it if he could find earn a
bigger role off the bench.

I think coach Pikiell got caught up in the moment with the
Almonacy breaking the all time leading scorer thing at
Brentwood. I watched Almonacy play back in high school and I
thought he wasn't a Div I player. Coach Pikiell did the same
thing with Mr. Michigan, Deshaun Thrower. Deshaun had no other
div I offers out of High School.. Look how that turned out. And
I dont mean with him getting in trouble, either. Both players
are very small, under 6'.. I hope coach Boals starts recruiting
taller shooting/ Point guards. Most guards are small in the AE.
teams with bigger guards usually do better against smaller
defenders.....

huge start for mitchell.
then woody turns it on, and theyre trying to lock him. BC cold
shooting for the most part.
the suits and sneakers deal for cancer is nice. GO SB

BC plays FAST, but they arent finishing. it's an interesting
gameplan because SB literally runs two squads of five fresh
bodies.
our FTs have been great this year. nice half.
woody is becoming one of my all-time SB favorites. ;D
tight game over at VT/UA.

Mitchell serves no purpose! The team has almost lost the entire
15 point lead! Get him out of the game!!!!
They always blow a major lead when he's in the game!
His 2 points so far have been huge!

awful start to the 2nd half. they scored 21 in about six
minutes.
nyama hasnt made great decisions with the ball. not to mention
4 total fouls just after the half.
SB barely stays head while VT pulls away from UA.
