He's typically covering the other teams best player though (a
role that should have gone to Walker). The coaching staff seems
confident that he's the bets perimeter defender on the team and
I trust their judgement.

Stats for Mitchell in the last few important or rivalry games:
Albany (1/8/16) - 0 points in 11 minutes and sits on the bench
during the biggest comeback in Stony Brook history!
Vermont (3/12/16) America East Championship game - 3 points in
17 minutes.
Albany (1/23/16) - Doesn't come off the bench during the entire
game of a 69-63 victory for the Seawolves over the 'Danes.
Albany (3/14/15) America East Championship game - 3 points in 24
minutes and failed to boxout, which led to the game winning
basket by Albany.

I really like how Boals has this team pressing in the backcourt.
We are not used to seeing that at SB..

Points. Not used to seeing too much of that either. Boals =
upgrade so far. And it might get a lot better. We'll see.

Sweet road win ! Anytime you win by 20 against a conference
foe its good news.

Sitting pretty good on 3-0 record. It's an unbelievable start.
Should be aiming higher that 4th seed now.

Terrific team effort. Aside from Monday's SB game, am interested
in the Albany-UMBC game.
btw, in fairness, Mitchel had five 3's in SB's win over
Washington a few years ago, SB's first win over a top 20 team.
He is a good role player, and Sekunda and Yeboah seem
comfortable coming off the bench.

The victory versus a farcical top 20 team was just that, a farce
- Washington played against 11 extremely weak teams just like
Rutgers this season. By the way, it looks as though Rutgers
will not win a B10 game all season. In 2014-15, Washington
opened that season against 11 cream puffs then followed by
losing 15 of their next 20 games and finishing 11th in the
Pac12.
I think the best game Stony Brook ever played was last season at
Vanderbilt where the Seawolves lost in OT - guess who rode the
pine all game? 😀
Beat UMass-Lowell!
