To get to 9-5, Brown's gotten fat on lower-end northeast teams
at their place. The Bears are 8-0 at home, and if you take away
the D-III teams, they've beaten Quinnipiac, Maine, St. Francis
Brooklyn, Bryant, Morgan State and Niagara by an average of 6
points. That's better than we can say, but I don't think we
should chalk this up as an L before the ball goes up. Their nine
wins are more than the eight they had all last season, and we
haven't even started conference play.
Spieth is Jordan's younger brother. Talented family. He should
be the best player on the floor Saturday. He and Blackmon are
the cornerstones of what's a green roster otherwise.
Hobbie's one to watch as he's their three-point marksman, and
we've struggled defending the three this season. Hobbie hit 5 of
8 threes on Thursday to help beat Quinnipiac. 225 of his 241
makes in his career are from three. That has to rank with just
about anyone's ratio in the country. 225 threes, 16 twos in four
years. He's taken 64 threes and 1 two this season.
This is a team that can be had on the glass. I'd love it if we
could win that battle.
Does Boals tinker with the lineup in advance of conference play?
We simply can't count on Woodhouse to be a dual threat at the 1.
He's much more effective as a distributor than a scorer. I just
don't know if we have enough guys to knock shots down.
Hoping Yeboah is back to full strength. He's had his ups and
downs, but I like what I've seen from him initially.
Nothing jumps off the stat sheet about Okolie, but he's running
a close third behind Spieth and Blackmon in minutes.
The Brown associate head coach is TJ Sorrentine. That should
give a few of us nightmares.

Same starting line-up. I like Mitchel staring and Sekunda off
the bench.
btw, I think you have to subscribe (10 bucks) in order to watch
the game on Brown's online feed. Ivy elitists!

We lead at half in spite of very poor defense . See what
happens in the second 20 minutes.

Only 4 points lead with 6 minutes to go. All these fouls gonna
hurt us in this crucial time. I hope Boals can keep them
composed. Would love to end the ooc on a winning note.
