       6-4/215 jr G/F Chris Jenkins 6.4 ppg, .418 3-pt FG%
Of note, NJIT has won six games this year, but two have come
against some teams named Sarah Lawrence and Dean. They were by a
combined 104 points. So really we're talking about a 4-8 team,
about where we are. NJIT has taken on and hung around with some
tough opponents to this point though. They were tied in the
final minutes with Temple before losing by 5, they led as late
as the seven-minute mark at Minnesota, and tailed Purdue pretty
close thanks to 33 from the kid Lynn.
We've had one common opponent so far. We buried St. Francis
away, they buried St. Francis at home.
Their production starts and ends with Lynn, who has led NJIT in
scoring in all but two games this season. He's led NJIT in
scoring every year he's been on campus, and this year will be no
different. As stated before, he had 33 against the Boilermakers,
and tied a career/program high with 34 in a loss to Utah State
earlier. Two biggest crowds of the year, two biggest
performances. I'm not sure that means a whole lot though. He's
topped 20 nine times and easily could have hit that mark against
the aforementioned D-III programs had he not been pulled.
He will not do it with the bounce though. Of Lynn's 243 shot
attempts, 175 have come from three. For his career, 1157 of his
1671 attempts have been from downtown.
It's looking like Lewis is much in the same form as Petras and
Campbell – a decent presence on the glass but nobody to fear
       offensively.
Who guards Lynn? Let's just do what we did last year. He went 1
for 9 (all threes) against us and was held to just five points.
We rolled, 83-61, despite five threes from Jenkins – a Hofstra
transfer, no relation to Charles. That was a long time ago, and
the St. Francis win was 11 long days ago, with Christmas in
between. I hope we're ready to pick it back up.

We can't take this game lightly. NJIT made Temple and Minnesota
work hard to earn their wins. They always play competitive and
that competitive trait has not been lost with the recent
coaching change when Coach Engles left for Columbia.
On a side note, I am very happy they finally found a home in
Atlantic Sun conference. If they had women's lacrosse, I am sure
NJIT would have been a member of AE by now.

Once again, no Cambel in the game.. Boals is making a huge
mistake not giving this kid a chance to play and improve

Hammer - Campbell was stuffed by the rim without a NJIT player
within 7 feet of Campbell and never returned. There were a bunch
of negatives tonight, but the main reason Stony Brook lost the
game was because Mitchell was outscored by 23-6 against #5 on
NJIT. I would be extremely surprised if Campbell is on the team
next season! Keep in mind, if Boales had a full year to recruit,
he would have only recruited Woodhouse and Garcia.

There is still time for Cambell to develop but as of now Petras
is the clear option at center. Also, I still feel that
Sturdivant is at his best when he is not guarding the other
teams biggest guy. I'm thinking Petras should start with
       Sturdivant.
I thought Saintel had a nice game and is coming along.
Please excuse the following gripes about the arena - 1) the PA
system is either broken or the levels turned up too high...the
audio was distorted the whole night- 2) turn the PA off when an
SB player is on the foul line with the ball- 3) no promos or
roving mic segments when there is under 5 min in the game-

I think we all knew there would be nights like this, where you'd
wonder where the points were going to come from. While it's nice
that Woodhouse set a career high in points, it's also a bad
sign. No creators, no post game, and when we don't shoot it well
from the perimeter – which has been too often this season – we
       lose.
Lynn was tough. Not a great shooting night but he still found a
way to get his. Tonight he passed Steph Curry for 8th all time
       in made threes.
It's too bad Sturdy turned into a pumpkin offensively, but he's
still a solid 8 and 8 kind of guy. Somebody said it before – I
think Petras has earned more time and will allow Sturdy to play
       the 4.
I guess Yeboah wasn't quite right yet?
NJIT didn't shoot it particularly well so these numbers will
come down, but opponents entered the night shooting 47 percent
against us, including almost 42 percent from three. Yuck.

The sound system was bad tonight and barely understandable. As
for the game a weak night against a fairly good team .
