Our zone defense gave NE fits all night. We should use it more
to slow down the other guys. Petras really had a good night ,
he is big and teams have hard time with him in the middle. This
is probably the best game they played this season.

Even though the last-minute shot went in against Loyola and
popped out against Northeastern, if you focus on process instead
of results with this team, you have got to be very happy - or at
least, I am. We're playing a very effective brand of basketball
on offense, utilizing a double-high post (Horns) much like an
NBA team with plenty of action on-and-off the pick-and-roll. I
feel like the players are allowed to make smart decisions both
with the ball and without it, and get rewarded for it, rather
than having to be in a very specific spot at a very specific
time, which limits creativity and improvisation.
So, even if that last second shot against Northeastern fell in,
and we lost two heartbreakers, I'd be okay with the process. The
longview, for me, is very optimistic.
I can't wait for Boals to upgrade the roster. It's gonna be fun.

I think we all new would take a hit this season with all the
changes. As Boals gets his recruits on the floor I see another
bright future down the road.

Well said guys- this team talent wise is not great but Boals is
getting 110% out of them. I know its a bit premature, but I'm
extremely excited with what he has going for this program.
Once he gets his guys here, this team will be very good.
