Based upon what I've seen on-line, it looks like SBU has landed
another highly rated Erasmus Hall recruit (in addition to Oneil
Stanbury and Selwin Wilks):
WR Jauquel Webb

Sounds good, but maybe SB will eventually find a real,
sought-after QB on that bucket list. We could have the best WR
in the country but if we dont have a QB who can throw the ball,
it is all meaningless..
I know we hear about Tyquell Fields a lot, but do we really know
what he can do on the field? NO!!!.. Fingers crossed a highly
rated QB lands on SB turf..

They had no business landing Wilks. He's an FBS player for
sure. Good job

It comes down to throwing the effectively . If we cant do that
then our offense is stuck again.

The SBU Coaching Staff are all very good recruiters, as far as
Wilks and Stansbury go they committed back in November but just
put it out there on Twitter now.
There may be another stud that I can let you know about this
week as soon as I get the call I will post it.
By the way the 6 walk-ons that SBU got everyone of them are
considered potential starters down the road

I don't know the players name but that got a WR from Florida to
commit over the weekend and they have two very good players
coming in next weekend and if they get them that will be a total
of 17 scholarship players for the 2017 class

Remember this name Jahquel Webb WR from Erasmus Hall is a 2017
Freshmen who originally committed to Rutgers but got hurt before
the season began when that happened Rutgers dropped him and
other DI Programs lost interest in him as well however the SBU
Recruiter stayed on him and he was able to return and played
great down the stretch and he not only committed to SBU but he
graduated early from HS and is on campus and going to Classes
right now.

That's all fine and dandy. But as I stated before if SB doesnt
have a QB who can throw the ball to one of these really good
receivers we got, what good is it..
Year after year it is a mystery with this football team as far
as who will be the starting QB and or if we have a QB.. For once
I would like to see SB bring in a 2 ,3, or 4 year starter who is
highly rated. ie: Richmond, WM, NDSU, EW, SHU etc.. The list
goes on and on. There are many highly rated QB who either drop
down to the FCS or would rather play in the FCS opposed to
fighting for a spot on a FBS team.. I strongly believe the
problem lies with our HC. Who wants to come to SB when we have a
reputation for running up the gut and only utilize a few
Offensive plays, like a Junior High school does. This all rest
on the HC..

Hammer I understand your frustration but I haven't seen SBU
bring in this many receiving targets in a long time also I have
seen Fields working out on campus before the holidays and to me
and me only he looks like he's better than Carbone already. I
really believe the ball will be thrown more this year again only
my opinion.
Some other news is that Kyle Nunez one of their top recruits for
this class was offer by the University of Buffalo today so I'm
hoping he doesn't flip you know how 18 year olds are they all
want to play DI.
We do have a very good OL coming in from Florida this weekend

Thanks Campi. I suppose I am talking out of frustration. SB has
the potential to be a perennial powerhouse. They have money,
They have the fans and they have a decent facility. Only thing
they dont have is a HC who can put it all together..
I did see Kyle Nunez Tweet today about UB. I dont see him
bailing on SB considering, UB is really no better than SB or UA,
who beat then last season, and of course the great game when we
played them. The game we should have one..
