The players I really like at this time and this only my opinion
are Tay Hellams the WR out of Maryland, Devan Lawson the TE out
Upstate NY and Kyle Nunez OL/DL from East Islip.
       A walk-on who could be a steal is Michael Purtzer a 6'7 270 OL
from Glen Cove who had a shoulder injury during his senior year
is very athletic and he also Boxes as his 2nd sport and is
       pretty good

Its nice to hear about all this talent but if they sign then
they are red shirted and seem to disappear after that . Win 8
games in 2017 and things will be fine .

Coach P redshirts almost all of his freshmen every year and they
do play as redshirt freshmen and redshirt sophomore's
Today we got another player out of the state of Maryland when
Justin Burns a DB announced on twitter that he committed to SBU

I went back to look at our 2016 Roster and I count 2 true
freshmen played, 4 redshirt freshmen played, 9 redshirt
sophomore's played and 4 true sophomores played. The guys who
usually disappear are the walk-ons the scholarship kids usually
don't leave the exception will be Jake Carlock because SBU
doesn't the major he wants to switch to so he is transferring.

training in the ring. should sign right away. ;D

According to Rich Reichert the SBU recruiter for Maryland HS
he's the guy they wanted to eventually fill the Jaheem Woods
role. He's very athletic and took SBU over Kent State.

It was only a matter of time until Coach Hemphill went to
greener pastures. He's done all that he can at this level. As
with Pikiell, it's a no brainer move.
The defense was the only thing keeping this team
semi-competitive. Hopefully we don't skip a beat on that side of
the ball because I have yet to gain any ounce of confidence that
this coaching staff will make this offense any more productive.
I hope Priore proves me wrong but I'm not holding my breath.
