just got an email saying the entry fee to wolfstock this year is
waived. good job SB, theyve managed the program so that they
dont even have to charge for this event. ;D
       [/quote]
It is $25 a head for adults and you are limited to a total of
four foods to eat and 1 soft drink??? Did I read that right?? I
am ok with the $25 per head to get in but not ok with limit me
on how much food and drinks I can have.
Every year they change this and we are considering just doing
our own wolfstock in our designated parking lot this year and
       bring our own food.

I didn't see any of the game, but a win is a win. How did we
look today? Our offense putting up 30+ points is an event in and
       of itself.

Defense is great and they are spreading the ball around. Making
good use of their talent. Very much improved. Def has a lot if
       playmakers.

Fantastic and great to hear. Also great to hear Carbone is
improving. He doesn't need to be a superstar, but as long as he
can limit the mistakes, this team can go places. Just gotta take
it one week at a time.
After last year, we need to make a statement against Sacred
Heart here at home this week. I'd like a shut out.

It's early in the season, I guess Stony Brook doesn't miss their
       previous defense coordinator ;D
How many people on this Board thought our defense would take a
major step back this season with the loss of the previous D.C.

I think we all did. But keep in mind. We still have many of Lyle
Hemphill original players. The true test is when our Junior and
       Seniors graduate..

Hammer - The WM loss was brutal on Friday night. I thought the
game was over when WM was up 26-14, but Connetquot brought in
their best lacrosse player and WM could not handle him. There
was some serious bad coaching throughout the game and football
coaches in general never take the kicking game seriously.
Melville has some serious athletes in the backfield, but the
wideout #1 had a brutal game. Melville showed a lot of heart,
but wore down throughout the 4th quarter.

Lax. You are correct. Brutal to say is an understatement.. We
were up by 2 scores with 5 minutes left in the game. Boltrek
should have played conservative and just stick with the running
game but he decided to have our Q throw the ball instead, thus
causing a turnover and that changed the momentum. I dont know
what WM is going to do with their kicking game. They had the
same problem last week again CI... I asked my son if they work
on that in practice and he said they do. Unfortunate!
The officials were so brutal in this game I wanted to run out on
the field and strangle those old bats. First play of the game WM
ran the kick off for a TD and they called it back on a bogus
holding penalty. I saw 2 face mask penalties on Connetquot and
the refs did not call them. WM coaches were going ballistic on
       the sidelines.
WM had plenty of chances to win this game but threw it away. Oh
well, we'll get them in the playoffs like we did last year!!!

I don't want to be too harsh on the coach because he hasn't
taken the "program" to another level. Good luck the rest of the
way and I wish more of these kids were playing lax!
