Carbone does look better than last year, but he's already thrown
a couple balls that should have been picked.
We're doing it though guys, we're actually IN this game at the
half way point. If we can keep it close into the 4th we've got a
chance. That's when these games usually get out of hand.
The longer we keep this lead, the more exposure we get both as a
football program and school, which is also fantastic. All the
ESPN anchors are talking about us. Win or lose, we're definitely
making the most of this. Simply being up at half time is huge.

Agree we are for the moment gaining recognition . If Carbone
can only throw deep we could win this thing . Given the heat
and rain our guys playing great all around.

Dont throw the ball deep, just keep with the short passes.
Defense is holding 19th ranked FBS, amazing!!!!

If the defense can hold USF, we have a chance here.. NO
Valentine on defense is going to hurt us deep into the game

Special teams has also been pinning USF deep and making plays
(like the punt block). Keep that up, and we could definitely
leave with a W if the defense can hold.

This team is good. The preseason 8th ranking is flat out
disrespectful.

I don't really give a damn about the ranking. Fact is we haven't
cracked five wins since 2012 despite having talent and beating
several good teams during that period. It is what it is.
Win or lose we definitely won't have people sleeping on us
anymore after today.

We're still in this game. The fourth quarter is when the depth
and scholarship advantages of FBS programs really show
themselves. We've run the ball quite well against USF.
