Here is the video of coach P rounding up the entire team..I
really love this team this year all around, except for the QB
position, as we all know...
Coach P is trying his hardest to convince SH not to fire him and
that the 5-2 record in the beginning of last season was because
of Carbone... Sorry coach. I credit the Defense and the running
game for that!
If you want your daily laugh in 1 minute skip directely to the
3:30 mark.. I want what he is taking!!!

Nice job all around by the SBU Football Operations (Dennis
McDonough/others) and Marketing side to get all these various
teams and shout outs from Coach P. At least some of us can catch
a glimpse at USF tonight against San Jose State between the
Money Belt fight.
As a result of the travel ban enacted by New York Gov.
Andrew Cuomo, the State University of New York at Albany last
year had to back out of a non-conference men’s basketball game
set to take place at Duke University. Additionally, the NCAA
altered the seeding for Stony Brook University’s women’s
lacrosse team in the postseason tournament so the team wouldn’t
have to travel to University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
The New York ban is also influencing upcoming games in the
Colonial Athletic Association, the only Division 1 conference
whose membership includes public schools in New York and at
least one in North Carolina. It makes things complicated for
Stony Brook University’s football team, which is set to compete
against Elon University in the fall.
Because the competition was scheduled before House Bill 2 became
law, New York granted Stony Brook an exemption to the travel
ban, but that won’t be an option in the future. The conference
is now identifying a different scheduling matrix for games
between 2018 and 2021.
North Carolina amendment the transgender law but it's still not
enough for our knucklehead Governor.. Let it go already so the
public schools can get back on with scheduling games again. SB
and UA student athletes are the ones being affected by this
ridiculous ban, and so is Elon.. Just let it go already Coumo!!!

I didn't know that's why we got such a low seed in the WLAX
tourney. I'm all for treating people with respect and abhor
discrimination against anybody, but you gotta wonder what this
is accomplishing. California is considering similar laws to
prevent travel to states like Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, etc. So
those schools are gonna feel the effects of this kind of thing
soon too.

We are talking about less than 1 % of the US population . Our
state government is making this worse with these rules.

It's GAMEDAY folks!!!
After all the anticipation over the offseason, it's time to
watch out guys strap up and hit someone else for a change. On
paper, this game shouldn't be remotely close, BUT we do have
great athletes for an FCS team and big offensive line. If our
guys ball out things can happen. There's always a fringe chance
of an upset. Lets see if/how much Carbone has improved. Better
QB play could take this team places this year.

We're competing really well so far. The longer this game stays
close the better I feel.
