The team ran a different version of the offence base on a North
Dakota style; the coaches stepped up & put together a great game
plan for the offence.
RB made severa huge plays on out side runs.
Special teams great job
There are player due back on offence within the next 2 weeks;
both should be ready by Towson Game when we will need them.

As just about everyone has said, this was an AMAZING game for
our players, coaches and support staff. Too bad we could not
pack more in the stadium. but those who were there can say we
were a true part of history! I hope they can keep up the
excitement and not let down. Seeing Cal Daniels make the ESPN
highlight was really cool.

I am a little concerned about the amount of passing yards they
give up; if it wasn't for a couple timley picks & blitz they
threw at Richmond the score would of been very close....
SBU plays a prevent & read; & they give up the short pass all
day.
Good teams will use this against us in the future; we haven't
put much pressure on the QB from our DE & that also is a
concern. SBU ..BRING IT

Wow, how wrong was I about this game. I'm very happy to be wrong
about it- Carbone took a huge step forward. Games like this will
give the whole team a ton of confidence which is going to be
great going forward.
Now, there was only one negative- why oh why aren't people
packing Lavalle? I've unfortunately moved off of LI so can't go
to home games but its incredibly disappointing that a game of
this caliber wasn't sold out. The people that were there seemed
to be really active but I can't make sense of some of the
apathy. There's something structurally wrong with student
attendance in particular that needs to improve.

nice jump from unranked to #8. it's clear they either moved us
up just enough to be one in front of Richmond, or, moved
Richmond down enough for the same. they love this head-to-head
is the only factor logic. especially this early.
otherwise, the ND win was solid, and, don't forget Temple beat
PSU last year. that's serious business.
NCAA rankings not out yet.

here's one ive tried many times to address here on the forum.
local fans, that's one thing. we did hit 4450 on a nice
September day.
but students? cant attend the game if youre not on campus.
cant be on campus if you head home for the wkd. head home for
the wkd because youre disaffected. and students are disaffected
because there aint much to do on campus.
over 10k beds in the area and we cant get a few thousands
students out for Division IA football against #2 Richmond? you
bet.
what makes it worse is the 20k plus student enrollment, and the
largest employer on LI. do faculty attend? staff?
begs the question. why not stay on campus for the wkd. answer-
because no one else does. why not?
