Stony Brook at Temple

Well. What does everyone think? Our offense will of course need
to perform better. The D I suspect can keep us in it.
Temple was outplayed on both sides of the ball by Army last
week. I guess they will have a spirited week of practice and
come ready to play. I believe we have a shot but we need some
things to go our way.

We have weapons on both lines but we are missing one critical
element, QB. Defense will hold Temple in the first half but
eventually will tire out in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Offense
will continue to struggle. We also need a kicker. Those 3 points
that we usually miss will continue to haunt us..
I honestly believe with everything said this team can keep this
game close , but ultimately will lose..It all comes down to
quarterbacking...

Our offense is pretty weak we just cant score points. Our only
TD last was fumble recovered in the end zone . Our D keeps it
interesting but the Owls will prevail .

This is a not a game we are supposed to win. The goal is to be
competitive, work on execution and come out of the game without
injury. Our offense will continue to improve. There were 3 new
guys in the 6 man rotation on the OL. It will take some time
for them to find their rhythm. Survive Temple and get ready for
the Richmond game next week.
Temple football coach Matt Rhule said that tight end
Colin Thompson and defensive end Jacob Martin likely won't play
in Saturday's 1 p.m. game at Lincoln Financial Field against
Stony Brook.
Rhule also indicated the injury status of wide receiver Keith
Kirkwood is uncertain.
As for running back Jahad Thomas, who missed the opener with a
dislocated thumb, Rhule said he won't play this week.
Rhule added that redshirt sophomore safety Jyquis Thomas, who
has been recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, practiced
on Monday.
This game is important for another reason in that we recruit
South Jersey/South Philly a lot so it's important to show
potential recruits that will be in attendance that we have a
good program that can compete week in and week out whether we
win or lose who ever the competition is.

There in new men in the Offence due to injuries to3 starters;
it's not due to performance....
They are not season ending.

Well, Thank goodness coach P chose Carbone as our starter. Just
remember, 5 more years of coach P coming up, and Helibron is a
Football head!!

The 1st half has been an embarrassment and that falls directly
on the head coach. We all understand there is a discrepancy as
far as talent goes, but in three halves of football this season,
our coach is too conservative on both sides of the ball.
