Thanks a lot! I've always thought our program should pattern
itself on Gonzaga and try to be the Gonzaga of the East Coast.
Not easy (or possible) to do but something to shoot for.

You're not that far behind.
I recall bursting with pride when Gonzaga made the post season
for the 1st time ever .... went down to Maples and beat Stanford
in the NIT. That was huge, and was in 1994. We made the big
dance the following year and lost to Maryland in the 3/14 game.
Made a couple of more NITs and in '99 started the "cute little
run" which is now 18 straight.
Stony Brook is not that far behind.
Have fun today ... and I'd love to see the Seawolves knock
somebody off ...

and just like that... my bracket has the Zoggies defeating Seton
Hall in an upset.
GZ if your fanbase is like yourself- I bet they are all classy
and youll find the same here.
I do very clearly remember the Gonzaga runs that started it all.

I started watching a little Gonzaga when Wiltjer transferred
there. Boy I wish we still had him :)

looks like someone jumped right on the wiki page- perhaps the
athletic dept...

of course, we like that the press so far hasn't spelled stony
brook with an "E". (or as one word)
or seahawks. or Sea Wolves.
