From what I'm reading on Twitter, it appears that Jameel should
be good to go on Saturday. Whew!!!

Even if he is cleared to play, it might not be the worst thing
to sit Jameel on Saturday to give his ankle a full week to
recover going into conference play. Plus, I think it would be a
good challenge to the rest of the team to try to play without
       him.

I agree. But you do realize we basically lose the game..

Phenomenal game, looked like dire straights when we were down
       17. Columbia was hitting everything they were taking.
Loved the fight the team showed to win this game. Sekunda
continues to impress me with his long range shooting. Walker
still has some work to do but he's become a very good all around
player- that alley-oop was outstanding. Woodhouse had an
excellent game though his stats aren't ridiculous- he moved the
ball well and played great defense. Warney, after a slow start,
dominated- he absolutely embarrassed Petrasek on one post move.
Columbia is a good team and this is a nice win. They've hung
tough with Power 5 teams (Northwestern, Kansas State). All in
all, great win going into conference play.

Also the crowd was amazing tonight- it was deafening at some
points tonight particularly when we made that comeback. I'm
pretty optimistic that coming to Stony Brook is gonna be tough
for the opposition. And this was without a real student section
       due to the holidays!

What a rally from 17 down ! Great game in the 2nd half Warney
dominated ours would not quit . So we are 9-4 going into
conference play that's great. Good crowd tonight they really
       came to life .

Very interesting game last night; my thoughts:
       - very important was ability of the team to hold the fort for
last 6 minutes or so of 1st half with Warney/Puriefoy on bench
       - ability to bring Woodhouse/Nyama/Sturdivant/Mitchell/Thrower
off bench gives SB deepest team in league
       - this team seems to be more like prior SB teams, able to
change tempo of the game on defensive end
       -  to that end, Puriefoy (and Walker) did a great job on Lo;
also did very good job on Lynn at NJIT
       - I expect to see a lot of Nyama at the 4 during league play
when teams go small with one big and 4 perimeter players
Solid non-conference performance, should have no more than 2
losses in next 16, with no major injuries, should be #1 seed
       heading into post-season tournament.

26-3 second half run. Awesome. This was a fun game to be at.
Huge second half from Carson. Great to see his shooting touch
back from distance after a dismal year last year.
Of note in the second half: Woodhouse and Nyama with more
minutes than Sekunda. Coach basically went 7 deep, with
       Woodhouse/Puriefoy/Warney/McGrew/Walker in there a lot. I like
       that five with a lead.
I love Roland. His line doesn't show him doing much, but I just
felt like he's moving the ball well offensively and making plays
       on the defensive end.
       Alley-oop to Ahmad was awesome.
Team did a great job on Lo, and Petrasek wasn't the same after
       the half. So many turnovers.
Lastly, heck of a job, IFCU crowd. That was a terrific college
basketball atmosphere. I went with my two nephews and three kids
       - one on five - and it was a blast.
