Game 12: SBU at NJIT

Anybody making the trip over break? If not, ESPN3 it up!
It's amazing how NJIT has transformed itself into a pretty solid
program. They have decent wins over South Florida and St.
John's, and played Albany and Providence very, very tough. They
even went toe to toe with Kentucky for a half. Pretty good start
for them at 7-5.
Don't foul 'em. They're seventh in the country at the line at
77.5 percent. They're no dummies - there's nobody defending you.
They're good on threes too - better than 37 percent as a team.
I'm thinking Jameel and Rayshaun will be tough underneath. All
six guys playing 20+ minutes a night for NJIT are 6-6 or
shorter. They have very little post presence defensively so get
the ball inside to the big boys.

Based on their wins this would be a nice win for us . A little

....wow.....this isn't a win, it's a comprehensive
curb-stomping. Putting on a clinic on their home court.
Props to Walker - hitting his shots and picking his plays much
more confidently than 2 years ago.

We looked very good tonight . Hopefully Warney is ready by
Saturday looks like a sprain.
