2011: Game 11 - SBU vs Liberty 11/19 (BSC Auto-bid)

This is the game thread for the Stony Brook vs Liberty game @
LaValle Stadium on November 19th (3:30PM). Since there is talk
about this game already in other threads in anticipation of this
huge game, possibly the "Big South Championship Game" (FCS
Autobid), if everything goes as .I decided to make the thread
early.
Lets make a good discussion and put our thoughts in for the Big
South game of the year

We have to make sure that students show up and get loud. Take
advantage of playing at home.
Inside man, is there anything planned for this game to try and
get more fans in attendance?

Looking forward to it. I made the trek to LI 2 years ago. I
don't think I will do the same this year, unfortunately.

Doubtful. Classes run till Wed. Not really a good idea for a lot
of students to jump ship that week.

Many of us have midterms right before thanksgiving. I don't
think people will leave home early.

Oh okay, I just assumed Friday would be the last day of classes.
I didn't realize that the students had class till that
Wednesday.

The student tailgate that was originally planned for October
29th has been rescheduled for the November 19th. There will be
free food for all students outside Gate 2.
Remember you can text "wolfie" to 313131 to receive updates
every 2 weeks on all of the student events.
We will be doing a big push to get students out for what
potentially could be a Big South Championship game.

Yes the school definitely has to put more effort in trying to
built the football culture. Its not that students dislike the
sport, or lack the the interest in following the seawolves. Its
a problem of awareness. Many are not aware about the football
game. Many others don't go because they don't want to be the
loners in empty stands.
The LU vs SB game should be a 7k+ attendance game considering
what will be at stake!

SHHH!! Its too soon to talk about this game and the "potential
big south championship game." Let's not look past CSU and GW.
