2016 Captions

How can you name a caption for the 2016 season when they haven't
earned or played 1 down yet for SBU....Please explain this to
me.

It is a player vote. Captain is an over rated thing anyway.

I looat three things'
Leadership on the field
Leadership in Academics
Leadership in team & helping younger players on & off the field
I guess these qualities are no as important anymore.......

Those qualities are important. In regards to Timmy Keith being
named, sometimes it comes down to a popularity contest in the
locker room. Leadership on and off the field comes from players
who might not get voted captain, but lead by ecample. I was only
commenting on Keith, cause you mentioned that he was hurt and
only been here a yr. If the Qb from nassau cc wins the job then
he is going to be expected to be a leader.
