to worry about is the JC kid he is still on the fence

He had offers from Eastern Kentucky, Rhode Island and Delaware
State. He also had Syracuse, UCONN and Old Dominion wanting him
to be a preferred walk-on
He's a high end prospect with a ton of upside but before I
anoint him he must do it on the field. We will see what they say
about him on Wednesday Night

so the JC QB is not at SB right now? that means he wont arrive
until the summer. hmmm, both him and the HS QB will have a lot
of catching up to do. I thought the JC kid was going to start
at SB this January.

It'd be great if Holmes signs with Stony Brook but I'm not gonna
lose sleep if he doesn't. Fields could be a huge steal for us. I
like QBs with his size (6'4)- yes he's thin right now but with
the conditioning regimen here he is bound to bulk up. In his
recruiting video I see somebody who can make all the passes-
there's one player where he's scrambling to his right and he
gets the ball >50 yards downfield into the endzone. He has good
zip on his intermediate range passes to. He looks like he could
be our QB of the future but we may need to be patient because he
will need time.
Overall, happy with the pickups Priore has been able to secure.
Looking forward to hearing what he has to say on Feb 3rd

Where did you find this information, BFF...

Ben Holmes is the JC kid and because he can't graduate until May
from Nassau that's why he's not here.
I get a lot of info because I have a HS Football website
(liblitz.com) that many players send me their player profiles. I
also get emails, texts, tweets from HS players and Coaches. I
also have at least 50 College Coaches that keep in touch with me
about players

Hammer, I heard that Holmes was not on campus yet, so I assumed
that he need to finish out the year at the JC, before he arrived
at SB. It has something to do with whether or not he qualified
to go straight to a four year school right out of HS. if not,
then you have to spend the full four semesters at the JC before
transferring to the four year school. in Bednarski's case a few
years ago, he was a 'qualifier' right out of HS, that meant he
had no academic or testing restrictions that kept him out of a
four year upon HS grad. that way, he only spent the minimum
time at the JC, three semesters, working on his game in two JC
football seasons, and waiting for a scholarship offer. he got
one from SB, and showed up in January.
