Victor Ochi doing well at the E/W practises. Not sure how much
emphasis can be put on these reports..

great info, nice to see. most of the freshman will be
redshirted unless they are a stud. so in my mind, we should be
looking at the current frosh class that red shirted this past
season and see who has progressed in the weightroom and in the
training program. these guys will really have to step up and
fill some voids in 2016. With Carbonne's spotty performance
this past season, the new JC kid has a shot at the starting job.
I recall one blogger on this site raving about what the coaches
think about Carbonne and his potential. Frankly, I was
underwhelmed last season. sure he can run a bit (and took some
big hits in the process), but his throwing left a lot to be
       desired.

I don't really know how some could say that SB doesn't attract
top local talent. Going back to Eddie Gowins they have had 6
Hansen award winners, whether they transfered in or signed out
of high school they were convinced to come to SB. Jackolski was
gonna go to New Hampshire until Priore convinced him to come to
SB. Isiaha White had D1 offers and chose SB. John Haggert and
Jake Carlock were 1st team all metro. They like Ochi signed
early. It's too bad Haggert has had 2 knee surgeries, he would
have been dominate. Tyler Fredericks was a top local talent who
hasn't worked out but still a top talent coming in. Liotine was
another top talent who played for a small HS which impacted his
offers. Recent grads Mike Lisi a 4 ur starter at center. Jawarer
Dudley was another local standout and 4 ur starter at LB.
Malcome Eugene was another one. SB is not going to compete with
Syracuse, not going to happen. They won't compete with Rutgers
either. If it weren't for local talent this program would never
had made the playoffs. As far as draftees go, now that Tye has
broken through that will give name recognition to SB. The
administration looks at a lot of things within the program,
graduation rate and having a clean program are really important.
As far as recruits who recind at the last minute go that happens
at every school that can give a scholarship. They are not
getting rid of Priore right now. That doesn't mean he has a
lifelong position. The AD will do what he needs to do, its not
going to happen in the off season during the recruiting process.
If u look at SB for what it is and not what u want it to be you
might not come off as being so angry. I have season tickets and
it doesnt make me a shareholder in decisions at the school.
Remember before the local talent of Eddie Gowins, Maysonette,
and Jackolskie arrived nobody cared about SB football. Other top
LI talent that I forgot, Ousmane Camarra, Josh Valentin, Aaron
       Thompson, Dante Allen.

Following up on the local talent Anthony Catapano is such a good
athlete that the SBU Baseball Team wanted him
While my list currently only has 12 names there will be at least
4 more Scholarship Kids and about 6 more Walk-Ons
I also believe that there will be a freshman QB brought in as a
       Walk-On
I know that Coach P doesn't like change but I really believe
that the offense in 2016 will have more wrinkles to it then we
have seen in a long time

Due to his size if Catapano makes rthe field it will be at
center; his height is an issue at tackle & gaurd.

I love that Catapano was being recruited by coach Senk to play
baseball. I also noticed he's scoring 7.2 points a game good for
fourth on the team in scoring this basketball season. Love that
he's not just a big frame, but also an athlete.

On February 03 when SBU announces their Commitments they
probably won't include the Preferred Walk-Ons which I have some
       on my current list
Also at least of the top 6 players from LI have committed to
programs in the last couple of days Army, New Hampshire, Sacred
       Heart, LIU Post
I will put up my complete SBU list after February 03 and I will
also put up my complete list of where all New York Players are
       going
