Maybe just as well. If you ant make it in a junior college then
SBU would be really tough even with academic advisors

I just spoke to the head of SBU Recruiting and he confirmed that
Ben Holmes will not be coming because of Academics and that
right now it's Carbone (1) and Kirwin (2) there also going to
see what Fields can do once Camp opens

Holmes also changed his Twitter- pic of SBU is gone and his bio
doesn't mention Stony Brook anymore. Pretty disappointing news
actually.
Huge red flag if he couldn't make grades here- we're not asking
for a 4.0
I'm not a huge fan of Carbone- would like to see what Irwin and
Fields have to offer.

Yeah, I just found out at camp today about the grade issue with
Holmes. Disappointing to say the least. No offense to the kid
but I can't sit through another year with Carbone. They need to
have Fields step up and win the job.

I agree start one of the Freshmen and develop him over 4 years
. I don't think Carbone is the answer at starter .

Regarding Carbone: players improve. He has his freshman season
game tape to study and learn from. I'm sure he's made some
adjustments and hopefully the coaches have as well.

the continuing saga of SB football mismanaging the QB position.
we're back to hoping and praying for success at this position
once again in 2017.

Yes we are. And why is that???????? One man. Head coach... This
will only continue until he leaves..
