if he comes in without a scholarship offer, then that is hard to
pass up. I am leery of these kids that have not played football
in a long time. Remember the Kinder experiment, that did not
work out too well for us at QB.

We continue to search and I guess struggle with this position ,

If enrolling in school is one of the criterion for being
included on the roster, then it looks like there's some good
news for the Seawolves!! Ben Holmes is now included on the
roster. Let's hope he can keep his grades up!!

That's good news. Now hopefully he lives up to all the hype
circulating lately about this kid!

Anthony Catapano OL from Carey was named today the best position
baseball player in Nassau County this is some Athlete that is
coming to us for the up coming season I also heard he will get
playing time at Center as a true freshmen this year
I hope some of you will come out to the Boomer game next Tuesday
June 21 at Hofstra as he will be playing in that game

There were some other graduating seniors baseball players I
read in Newsday that are leaving the Island going to West
Virginia , Notre Dame and Clemson. Would have been nice to grab
one or two of them to play at SBU next spring.

On Tuesday June 21 Anthony Catapano manhandled the NYC DL at the
Boomer Empire Challenge game and he was told by SBU Coaches that
he will be playing this season as a true freshmen

I'm working a youth football camp this week with a kid who
backed up Ben Holmes last yr. He said Holmes is for real with a
big arm and is really fast. He said he brings a lot of swagger
to the position. Also according to this kid, SB did agree to
tweak the offense to better utilize Holmes's skill.
