Newsday covered the event. Ochi worked out but sat out of the
40.

Oakland Raider in attendance at the SB Pro Day. I had heard
that the Raiders visited SB football practices on several
occasions during the season to get a look at Ochi.

With the 2016 SBU Football Class just about done (there will be
2 more additions one from NJ and one from CT) here are some
updates on this Class
There will now be 7 QB's in Camp for the Fall with the addition
of William Hogan from Syosset HS who was going to walk on at the
University of California but is now coming here instead.
Punter Jack O'Hanlon from Chaminade HS has been added and is a
Left Footer Punter
A number of players have been held out of Spring Workouts due to
injuries and/or recovering from off season surgery
The play calling will be handles by the QB Coach Carmen Felus
So far this Spring close to 40 HS players have visited the
practices and there might be as many as 75 players at the Spring
Game

I have been told straight out by some of the players; that the
transfer QB from the island has the best arm in the short game &
the deep ball. He will be hard to beat out for the fall job; i
am hopeful they stay w 1 QB this season n if they have to use a
back up QB on some trick plays.
We have a lot more healthy players in the passing game this
year; if used correctly this could be a fun team to watch this
fall. They have 2 more players coming in this summer on the OL;
this should help up w the front line this fall.
So don't get too stress about what you see on the OL this during
spring ball; few guys are still recovering from injuries also.

Ben Holmes without a doubt will be the starting QB what there
more concerned about is who will be the number 2 QB because the
is a significant drop after him so there hoping that one of
these other guys can step up in the event of an injury to him.
As far as the RB's go it looks like right now that it's Bedell,
Gowins, White and Liotine
