I think you even left out some key guys at these positions, who
have certainly earned their ways into consideration as starters.
The offensive bucket is full, gentlemen:
RB- How about Liotine? After last season I think he would
probably be ahead of Liburd or Fredericks on the depth chart.
WR- How about Washington? He's certainly proven himself over
the last couple of seasons, and I would think he'd be above
       Wingate on the depth chart.

Duh, yeah big brain farts on my end.
Keith/Bolden/Washington will be our 3 top receivers. I like
       Wingate because of his height.
Also, at the signing day event, Coach mentioned how they still
have 3 scholarships available for offense and 1 for defense. I
am almost 100% certain those offensive scholarships will go to
the line. Be patient but it sounds like he's working the
transfer networks to get some big boys up front.

Dock. are you sure coach P said 3 were left. I thought I only
heard him say he is keeping 1 more scholarship in his pocket,
like he usually does. I could have misunderstood. I was in the
back of the class like old days, lol..

Hammer, I'm 99% sure he said he's keeping 1 for defense and
       he'll have 3 for offense.
I think he knows where the holes are on this team- I actually
really liked hearing Coach speak and am way more optimistic
about this team going forward now. I think he knows what this
       team needed this offseason.
Other things Coach mentioned off the top of my head:
       1. Offense may change slightly with new personnel
       2. They're wrapping up interviews for a new offensive
       coordinator
       3. Octavien sounded like their top defensive recruit
       4. Called Tyquell Fields "a gem"- really optimistic about him
       5. Wanted our linebackers to be taller and more athletic this
       year
       6. Anthony Catapano will be playing center for us
       7. Sherman Alston will be our primary PR and KR this year and
       will play the slot
       8. Scarborough chose Stony Brook over New Hampshire
       9. Morrison was the only DB they offered this year
       10. They watched a ton of Ben Holmes (Coach King saw him play
       several times)
       11. Team is optimistic that Aaron Thompson will have a huge year
That's all I can recall now!

If we can develop a mid range passing game with our run game we
will be fine. Throw in a long range bomb once in awhile. The
offense needs to open up and not rely on just the run .

Upon reviewing the spring roster on the website, there seem to
be a significant number of surprising names missing. Can anyone
tell me which are errors of omission, and which are real? I've
(*) those that I find the most disconcerting:
-- QB Carlos Hernandez (I'm guessing he may have seen the
       handwriting on the wall)
-- RB Tyler Fredericks (Would be a shame, but understandable)
-- RB Travis Liburd (Another probable unfortunate circumstance
       due to incoming talent)
       -- OL Bryce Hudak
-- WR Angelo DeShields (Never really saw much playing time)
-- WR Tim Keith* (Would be shocking and very unfortunate)
-- DL Sam Awrabi (Could be an honest assessment of his chances)
-- DB Reggie Allen (Surprising, wouldn't you say?)
-- LB Dakota Everett* (One of the more experienced guys at this
       position; hope it's untrue)

Carlos Hernandez graduated, although he still had eligibility
left. The other ones I'm not sure of.

Fredericks/Liburd not being on the roster is not surprising- we
already have a super crowded backfield.
Tim Keith was at signing day yesterday- he's still on the squad
and a captain this year, don't worry about that
Can't really comment on the other players

A couple of walk-ons that I thought were coming got offers last
week and decided to take that instead Marc Arboleda a TE is
going to Pace and Michael Catanese is a Athlete is going to
Cornell. as far as walk-ons go usually they are players from New
York that have offers from DII, lower DIAA or IVY league from I
what I'm hearing there are 12 players who have made a commitment
to come here with lot's of upside to a guy that has to be
       developed
In addition to looking at a possible DI transfer there are the
players who thought they were going to sign with a Major DI
Program only to have it fall through that now might reach out to
a SBU looking for a landing spot
There are several reasons that players might not be on the
Spring Roster such as; Academics, transferred to another school,
suspended for any possible reason, tired of playing football,
       injury, etc.
Tim Keith was there last ningt so maybe there still waiting on
his NCAA Clarence for the 6th year
One last thing take a look at the coverage the New Jersey
Newspapers gave NSD and then look at what we get here on Long
       Island from Newsday
