ugh missed FG with 4min left.
in the fourth quarter alone- SB got five huge breaks. four were
towson flags (3 on one drive), and then on a critical 3rd and 10
in the red zone, SB flinched before the snap and no call.

tough loss. as the announcer said, crushing. we were
reasonably closing in on a 21-0 lead in the 2nd. and it all
       turned around.
keep your heads up guys- we have some injuries and will get
       through it. GO SB

I hear you Hammertime. its time for the AD to step in and fire
somebody. these kids are playing their hearts out, but the
coaching is reminiscent of poor high school coaching. I mean
seriously folks, this is Ps third season in the CAA, and he is
coaching like he is in the Big South or D3. this was an
       embarrassing loss, flat out embarrassing.

I think our AD is hearing our cry.. Last year he was always down
on the sideline watching the game .. So far his year he is
       MIA!!!

There a term coaches are using how we finish; 4th down & 1 yard
to go with 4 min left and you elect to go for a field goal
       wow....
What are you telling you offensive line & players..this is so
       hypocritical for a coaching staff.
Head coach cannot not coach an offensive line & the offence &
still stay focus on all aspects of the team.
Why we don't use the short game more often is beyound me....
Last drive we could of went down n out 1 or 2 more times & then
throw a fade to a big TE; We have 2 players Davis & PJ over
6ft 6". I do agree pour adjustments in the 2nd half by SBU &
there is a serious issue w our DB in pass coverage.
The blue print is out there on this team; we might not get
another win if they don't make adjustments. I am beginning to
think we might have major issue with the staff in teaching basic
technique. It seems to me the OLine run blocking is not working
& th backs are running into the blocks; it's the technique they
are being taught; they need to start capping shoulder & twist a
DL & have the back run in a desire lane.
The read on the block is not working; when there are lanes are
open on the out side the backs are taking uo the middle into
       blocked lanes.
The QB issue got to stop; to many drop balls & confussion in the
back field & the QB not getting into a rythum....leave Connor in
as the main QB & only use back QB for read plays or options.
I heard from many fans tonight that this was one of the worst
games they had to watch....not good for the program.

In the past I would point fingers at our players when they
played poor, but as time when on I realized the issue starts at
the top and not the bottom.
Not going for the touchdown when when it's 4th and 1 on your 5
yrd line tells me coach P has no faith in his offensive line and
his Quarterbacks. Well, if this is the case and he strongly
believes his OL, QB, RB or WR cant make a first down with only
36 inches to go, then the blame is all on him and his staff and
he should just let someone else take over as the head coach and
       resign!!!
It is my understanding Coach P has one final season left on his
contract after this season. If Mr.Heilbron has a head coach in
mind who can take over and breathe new life into this team, he
should fire coach P immediately at the end of this season and
give him his final year salary. Enough is enough with his JV
       play calling!
Heilbron said his top priority is making SB Football a power
house. Well, building an indoor workout facility is important to
attract higher level recruits to SB but if the kids dont get
proper support and training to compete in the CAA, we are just
       throwing away good $$$$$$.

Yesterday we got the result we deserved. We SHOULD have won the
game, but we did absolutely nothing to earn it.
After the first quarter, no adjustments were made, and we just
reverted to "ultra-conservative" play calling. When you average
1.8 yds/carry, refuse to go off-tackle, and lock on to only one
WR, your offense will fail. 44 carries for 74 yards will never
       be good enough.
Towson basically admitted that our offense was garbage. They
squib-kicked it, going for it on 4th in their own territory,
etc. You can tell that they weren't scared to give us great
field position, because they knew we can do nothing with it.
After the game, I honestly couldn't find one thing that made me
optimistic about the team. We should still beat URI, Elon, and
Howard. But UA and Maine are going to be tough, and even if we
win out, I think the team regressed.

It was a shame last night. All the excitment of a great day gone
to waste. Same offensive plays over and over again. Big
       disappointment.
and what's with these fireworks. No fireworks if we lose the
       game Period!

Also... Stony Brook is lying their as*s off with attendance. No
way there were 12,000 people there last night. There were seats
empty everywhere. Last year was a record, this year not so much.
They are not fooling anyone but themselves with these numbers
