just a mock draft, but nevertheless, good ink:
Early 2016 Major League Lacrosse Mock Draft
17. Rochester Rattlers – Brody Eastwood, A, Stony Brook
Eastwood's case is an easy one to make after he scored an
NCAA-best and program record 62 goals as a junior. He also
dished out a personal-best six assists. He is a top indoor
prospect as well. Rochester can afford to take on Eastwood after
losing both Mark Matthews and Randy Staats in the expansion
draft.
America East Preview: Thompson is Gone, Albany is Not
HTML http://laxmagazine.com/college_men/DI/2015-16/news/120415_america_east_conference_preview_thompson_is_gone_albany_is_not
One thing’s for sure: The Great Danes are unlikely to
back away from their up-tempo style. Maybe they won’t have the
college game’s most creative player on the field. But Fields and
Justin Reh make for an interesting foundation on attack, and
assuming Seth Oakes is back (he wasn’t with the team in the
fall), Albany will be built to score again.
But so is Stony Brook, which averaged 13.89 goals per game and
brings back 11 of its top 12 scorers. It also shot at a
blistering 40.2 percent --- yup, Albany didn’t even lead the
league in shooting efficiency.
If the Seawolves’ defense improves, they have a chance to narrow
the gap considerably in a conference owned by one program for
the last three years. Their offense by itself will be enough to
keep it competitive in most games. Like Albany, Stony Brook will
be an entertaining team to watch this spring.
Any discussion of the finest finishers in the country must
include Eastwood, the British Columbia native who scored a
school-record 62 goals. Lethal on extra-man? Sure, to the tune
of 10 goals, which ranked sixth nationally. A man who made the
most of his opportunities? It’s hard to argue that considering
his .639 shooting percentage led the country. The question here
is how much will the departure of feeder Mike Rooney, who
graduated as Stony Brook’s all-time leader in assists (121) and
points (253), impact Eastwood’s effectiveness. Should the
Seawolves have a suitable replacement to plug in, Eastwood
figures to pile up some more gaudy numbers while pacing a potent
attack.
Rogers, Reh, Eastwood named preseason All-American
Face-Off Yearbook announces preseason All-Americans
Dec. 8, 2015
Baltimore, Md. - Seniors Challen Rogers (Coquitlam, British
Columbia) and Brody Eastwood (Victoria, British Columbia) and
junior Jeff Reh (Sound Beach, N.Y.) were named preseason
All-Americans in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook issue.
Rogers and Reh were named to the third team, while Eastwood
garnered honorable mention.
Rogers produced a second straight 50-point season, tallying a
career-best 30 goals and 23 assists. He had four hat tricks and
at least three points in 12 of 18 games. In conference games,
Rogers averaged more than three points per game and scored a
career-high five goals at Vermont.
Rogers is 51 points away from becoming the fifth player in
school history to reach 200 career points.
After making the move to the defensive midfield, Reh earned
first team All-America East honors as a sophomore, totaling 51
ground balls and 18 caused turnovers to go along with four goals
and four assists.
He had at least four ground balls in a game eight times and
posted a career-high four caused turnovers vs. Lehigh.
Eastwood recorded a single-season school record 62 goals,
including 10 against UMass Lowell. He joined Jordan McBride '11
as the only players in school history with three straight
40-goal seasons to start their careers.
Eastwood is 30 goals away from breaking McBride's school record
of 175 career goals and 46 points away from 200.
Stony Brook opens 2016 at home vs. Sacred Heart on February 16.

anyone hear anything now that the fall is nearly over?
here's what I was able to cull just from the web-
Cole Anderson is listed as LSM
Chris Pedone is listed at mid
Sean Seaberg is listed as LSM
Justin Pugal is listed at defense, yet had 34 goals last year
(?)
Sichenzia is listed at mid
we have five goalies: a freshman, soph, junior, senior, and grad
this freshman class is big- a lot of guys over 6 feet (sometimes
these #s are inflated). another fact ive noticed over the years
is how many guys have a dad who played lacrosse in college.

42 total on the roster (coach Mauro not on there yet)
14 fr, 11 so, 7 jr, 9 sr, 1 gs (17 upperclassmen)
about half the team is over 6'2'' (again, might be generous)
we might not even need to play freshmen this year
big question of course is who is going to replace rooney.
judging by last year, it seems like it could be sheets. then
again, I wouldn't be surprised if ozsvath or howell get into the
mix. some of our mids play attack too.
offense should be fairly settled with rogers, hughes, bitzer,
corpo, and perhaps Lloyd, chicquen, or freshmen. And then
easty/Schultz on attack. we are deep everywhere (literally)
except attack.
we are deep at midfield. Lindsay is likely our primary faceoff
mid but now we also have owen daly and james gerstner. our
faceoff unit / defensive midfield should be one of our
strengths, with curry, Lindsay, and reh. Robison and ellis
should be there too.
LSM is deep too, as curry has that locked down, likely
abdellatif behind him.
goalie might be interesting with five able players. rock down
low with randall, and the last spot could go to anyone. we have
five new freshman poles, though it seems most are LSMs (or at
least they are listed that way, and that doesn't mean much).
these are all guesses of course.

What about Chiquen moving to attack. I think it would work.
