Coach P mentioned him this weekend at the camp they put on at
SBU; i was really surprise they offered him based on his
previous issue w domestic violence..
These young men represent SBU & when you are offered a
scholarship or financial aid they should be held to higher
standards on & off the field.
Everyone deserves a second chance; individual must changed from
the previous issues they you have had & ask for help &
forgiveness for whom they wronged.
Sounds deep...

I believe in innocent until proven guilty. There are 2 sides to
every story. This kid could be the victim in this Domestic
instance. Not saying he is innocent in any way, just saying we
don't know the whole story here. Apparently the Ducks know
something we don't, though! !!!

SB picked to finish 8th place in the CAA again and Albany 9th. I
hope we can prove them wrong this year! !!!!

SBU has a lot of new players starting this season; DB, OL, WE,
TE
Looking forward to seeing what they are able to accomplish; on
paper the D has more returning starters then O. I am hopeful
they use a more balance attack this year & play off what the
opposing D gives them.
The O line is young & I think running the ball might be more
difficult this season.

we need better play out of the QB position this season.
bednarski had some good moments last season, but the consistency
was not there. seemed like he played well in the big games, but
had lackluster performances in games against Elon and Albany.

I'm a little late on the Dixson issue. And I really hate to
agree with lax, but he's right on. That signing if true is
embarrassing. Were there is smoke there is fire and you don't
need that in your program. Why do you need a grad student 1yr
player anyway. And they want to attract families. Bad move.
College sports are a privledge. He already had 4 urs to play.
Let him rehabilitate some where else. No place for hitting
women.

It is my understanding many FCS teams bring in former FBS
players for different reasons. I don't know why the standards
are lower for FCS schools but, all around the league you will
find players with issues dropping down to the FCS.
