       2014: Game 10 - JMU vs SBU 11/8 1:00pm

SB has the bye week; JMU hosts W&M this weekend. Too early for
       weather.
       Video:
  HTML http://www.stonybrookathletics.com/collegesportslive/?media=459426
Hot off the heels of Donavin Washington catching 11 for 102 and
Jaheem Woods picking off the QB for the second consecutive game.
Maybe it was what i saw, but it looked like our receivers had
       the dropsies against UNH.
A true five-underwear special, every time SB looked out of the
game they would come alive, and then, something would go wrong.
Credit SB for not packing it in but debit UNH for not shutting
       the door.
JMU recently blew up Towson and yet somehow edged out a close
one on the road against Charlotte. They've won 3 straight and
play well on the road. W&M is this weekend at JMU. It looks
like they've got an offense to deal with and should they beat
W&M, both SB and JMU will be 3-2 when they meet.
       GO SB!!!
PS- what is this historic announcement tomorrow? its on the
       stonybrookathletics website!!!
PS- UA came from behind against Colgate to move to 6-2 (2-2).
       PS- Coastal is now 8-0
PS- a nice juicy Richmond/Nova game is this weekend too, could
       have CAA implications.

yes, we had a few drops, surprisingly by Wil Tye, that cost us.
Bednarski missed a wide open Coxson on a bomb down the middle
that might have changed the tenor of the game. we had our
chances, UNH kept on giving us the ball, and we could just not
score enough. we should be proud of our team, rebounded from an
ugly preseason to come on strong in conf. play. we have an
excellent chance to end conf play with record of 6-2, that would
       be awesome.
one thing that really bugs me is that CAA just ignores SB.
Victor Ochi had four sacks against the No. 5 team in the
country, yet CAA ignores him in their "player of the week for
Defense" awards today. Similarly for Donavin Washington, our
true freshman receiver, goes for over 100 yards receiving, and
he is snubbed by CAA for a running back from Maine as the
"rookie of the week" award winner.

My guess for the historic announcement is the corporate name
they are going to put on the new arena. That should be done
before the season opens so why not now.

Thats is correct Seawolf97.. "Island federal Credit Union" has
the naming rights and gave 7 million Dollars to SBU for a 10
       year deal!!!

Yew, BFF, I certainly agree with you about the awards. Ochi and
Washington certainly deserved to be recognized, as has Ricard in
at least one of his previous games. But, let's hope the
conference starts giving our players their due soon.
Speaking of Washington, he surely had a terrific game. But, I'm
just wondering about why he started and played so much of the
time. Remember, Jahrie Level had a great game the week before.
I don't remember his name being called at all in the game. But,
he was listed first on the depth chart. Was he hurt or not
       playing for disciplinary reasons?

I would've prefer for it to stay as SBU Arena but I understand
we need the revenue so no hard feelings and it makes me feel
better that it is only for 10 years

I think Level must have been injured.
