except for an early blip- tonight defense, defense, defense.
3rd down d was phenomenal. we out yarded the bears almost 3-1.
giving up 136 total yards- when the second play of the night was
a 73 yard td pass- is as good as it gets against a conference
foe.
we gave up 18 yards on the ground while gaining 226. thats 1.3
yards per carry for maine.
still too many flags but dare i say this team has turned it
around and salvaged the season???

I agree!! Bednarski now looks very comfortable and confident as
the leader, the OL has really turned it around, and as the long
as the defense keeps playing the way they are, the rest of the
season looks bright.
While the penalties are still coming too often, theyseemed to
have cut them nearly in half from previous games. It's hard to
miss that the team has progressively gotten better each game,
and is now limiting mistakes to a manageable level (e.g. no
interceptions or fumbles yesterday)!
One word of caution--don't look past Elon. I know they're
considered weak within the CAA, but they did score some points
yesterday. It would be a shame to lose the momentum the team
now has by taking Elon too lightly.

Man, I'm feeling good about this team. I may have to swallow my
own words from a few weeks ago. Survive the next three weeks and
all of the sudden this team can go from spoilers to contenders.
Just gotta believe.
SEAWOLVES!!!!!!
p.s: Albany falls to Richmond on sold-out homecoming night. That
makes two of us.

this is a good win for us. maine is solid despite the record.
i went back and looked at our resume so far. bryant is pretty
solid. ND lost to Montana and MSU but they were in both games.
however, W&M got crushed by NH, and Towson by JMU, so that's not
great but transitive properties never work in football or any
sport for that matter...

PS- love the blackouts and need to get other sports to do
that... i also love the wide red/white stripes on the helmet,
are those new or i just havent noticed?

excellent win, we got all phases of the football team going this
weekend, O, D and special teams. complete team win. now on to
Elon. cant overlook Elon and stumble, or the game against NH is
meaningless. here's to a dominant win this weekend.
