if they don't win this; don't expect any the rest of the season.
Staff will have a hard time motivating the players n them
confidence if they don't win.
I hope they have a shut out & win by 24.

fun fact: in 2011 we started the season 0-3 and went on to win
every following regular season game and advaced to the second
round of the playoffs under the leadership of QB Kyle Essington.
If we can right the ship now, we can still have a wonderful
season.

from Newsday today. I suspect that Coach P really just does not
want to hurt Kinders feelings by demoting him to the No. 2 or 3
QB, so he continues with this game called Rotating QBs. Give
Bednarski the start and see what he can do. cant get much worse
than Kinder's two starts.
SBU coach Chuck Priore expects both QBs to play
The depth chart still lists John Kinder as No. 1 quarterback
going into Stony Brook's game against American International at
6 p.m. Saturday at LaValle Stadium, but Conor Bednarski is no
worse than No. 1A.
Coach Chuck Priore said Thursday that both will play as the
Seawolves (0-2) search for their offense and the season's first
win against the Yellow Jackets (1-0), who are preseason
favorites in the Division II Northeast-10 Conference.
The lack of offensive production forced Priore to alternate
quarterbacks in a 19-16 loss at FBS Connecticut last week.
Bednarski led an 88-yard drive in the fourth quarter that might
earn him a longer look against AIU.
A juggling act at quarterback never is easy, but Priore said,
"I've done it before in my career . . . I've gone undefeated two
straight years playing three quarterbacks, so it doesn't faze
me."
Asked if the quarterback rotation could last all season, Priore
said, "I don't know. The reality of it is that when we step on
the practice field, if they both practice the same, they both
need to play. If one pulls away from the other, then you make a
decision.
"I'm not going to sit here and fib and say I want to play two
quarterbacks, but they are different quarterbacks and there will
be times for both of them. New Hampshire played two quarterbacks
all year last year, and they did pretty well . I think both of
those guys, for their first time being college quarterbacks,
have done fine."
It seems hard to believe, but the Seawolves are two plays away
from being undefeated -- a fourth-down TD pass by Bryant in the
opener and a 72-yard punt return by UConn. "Good teams make
those plays," Priore said. "Right now, we've got to focus on our
issues. We have to do better on our end.
"I think our problem as a team is that we're not in sync
offensively, and that's got nothing to do with the quarterbacks.
Fundamentally, we can play better. We've had eight third-down
plays that we've either had penalties or missed assignments. Add
eight first downs, continue to drive and it's a different game."
The offensive statistics are undeniably poor. In two games, the
Seawolves have totaled 17 first downs, six by rushing, and are
averaging 94.5 yards rushing and 243.0 yards total offense. They
have converted seven of 40 plays on third and fourth down. They
are averaging 86.5 yards in penalties.
So it's not all on the quarterbacks. "There's 21 other people on
the field plus kickers and punters," Priore said. "The reason
we're 0-2 is because we haven't played well throughout those
positions."

If they lose to 2 lower conference team in the first three games
it will be hard to motivate these players.
This is a must win; this game will be won on the ground this
weekend due to the wet weather. I hope the OL is ready to bring
there a game this weekend.
In the article it never mention play calling; i still believe
3rd play calls were terrible. If your line not making the blocks
you can't expect your offence to make 11 yard gain on a run;
this happen several time last week.
i thought it showed no confidence in the passing game in the 1st
3 quarters.
Look ofrward to the game & i am bring my poncho.

IMHO, If Kinder struggles against this D2 team like he has in
past two games, he's done.

BFF. In all reality we should win this game by a huge amount and
we will but that still does not solve our Q controversy. With
all the talent on our team if kinder can't find a way to make
pass completions to our WR, even if the OL fails, then Bednarski
needs to be our starter for the rest of the season. A smart Q
will alway find a way to put points on the board... p.s. Ill be
at the game tonight regardless of rain or moon light!!!
