ddmd, yeah i was at the game too. I think its Conor or Kinder
at QB right now, for what ever reason, the coaches dont want to
play Carlos, so he is out of the equation right now. and in my
mind, Kinder has already shown that he is not capable of running
the offense. just too big of a learning curve for him, and his
basic QB techniques are not sound. Conor has the QB skill set
we need, and will improve if the coaches give him more practice
and game reps. you saw him gain confidence as that 14 play
drive developed. just missed getting a big TD throw to Level
early in the drive, and came right back and hit Tye for a nice
15 yard TD. in my mind, it comes down to getting Conor more
game reps. you mention that he throws low when he rolls out,
but in the spring game and at UConn, I saw him make just as many
of those throws as he misses, so the skill set is there, he just
needs more reps.

Latest depth chart has been released.
-- Looks like Kinder is still the starter, although I thought
Bednarski's showing against UConn should have won him the start.
I just hope that Priore doesn't shuffle then in and out. Pick
your guy and give him a chance to succed!!
-- Louis Murray and James Kenner still not on the depth chart.
Are they both in the doghouse?
-- Although it's against Priore's history, looks like he may be
willing to give some true freshman shots at playing this season.
Julius Wingate, and Darin Peart have cracked the depth chart.

Can't believe they are going to use 2 freshman; several of the
players must be in the dog house.
I think the big issue is your QB; if he can't make the reads &
get the timing down it wont matter who you put into the game.
I cant believe we don't run more slants down & outs; Tye is much
better in the passing game when he in a tight set n being
defended by the ILB or OLB.
Short post should be a great play too run with Coxson speed.
You open up the short passing game & the D will tighten up &
you will find open receivers deep. Completing a pass in shorter
route is 50% higher then in your deep routes.
I am hoping we see more of this on Saturday; if they stack the
line you half to have a quick 2 step drop n complete the pass in
the shorter routes. This will force the D to change coverage &
help your running game.
I hope for great weather on game day.

With our O-Line providing poor protection, we should really see
more 3-step drops for slants/flares/etc. But Priore has never
liked those, just like he won't use wheel routes to a RB.
Regardless, as long as we run Coker up the middle on 3rd and 9,
we're probably not converting third downs.

I applaud all the work the girls due for this team & program;
they really support the players.

I totally agree with this.
