Okay, bad first outing and the second one can be potentially
worst but I will refuse to give up on this team. No time for
negativity. Lets move on and enjoy the season and hopefully we
can figure it out along the way.
Game time is NOON and game will be played at the Rent, East
Hartford September 6th. If you stay home you can watch on
ESPN3/SNY. I hope to see a lot of you guys up there in CT
UConn FB may be bad at the FBS level, but this is no doubt our
toughest match of the year

definitely not throwing in the towel. UCONN will be a tough
match up, but I am actually happy with our D. Will be making
the long trip out there, and looking forward to getting my RED
ON next weekend.

Big Fan it's time for a cold one; keep the faith & i am hopeful
this coaching staff can make the changes needed.
I would only use Kidner on designed plays; he needs a better
grasp of this offence.

I would suspect we see Kinder start against UCONN, but if he
struggles again, Coach P has got to have quick hook and get
another QB in there. I dont understand why everyone on staff
was surprised that Bryant would stack up against the run. that
seemed obvious to me that staff would not come out throwing
against Bryant with a new QB. but the quick slants, out routes,
and draw plays would have slowed down the bryant D a bit. there
was one QB draw late in the game, but that was it. also, no
designed roll outs that would allow Kinder to use his feet if no
one was open. he was clearly uncomfortable in the pocket, would
not step up in the pocket to throw the ball, and pulled the ball
down and ran too soon, rather than look for a secondary
receiver.

Agreed; not comfort zone in the pocket: Carlos has the quickest
release & is very accurate in his short game. With line line
issue I would go back to a 2 or 3 TE set at times.
This will help in blocking scheme and open up short quick
routes.

Bummed about the Bryant game, but Priore teams tend to make
adjustments and play better in October and November than
September. I'm hopeful they will tweak some things and look
better in Connecticut.
