       Late welcome to the CAA.

Happy to find your board, and looking forward to visiting Sept.
       27. Still unclear how good you guys might be this year, but you
came in with respect from the whole league. Tribe needs to find
a healthy QB, but is well stocked everywhere else.

Welcome aboard!! The Seawolves have a little QB work to do as
well, with three primary candidates vying for the position--and
all to be new to the starting role. Hopefully the team is
sufficiently recovered from the injuries that devastated it last
season. If so, I'm expecting they'll be a lot better than the
preseason conference prediction of a 9th place finish. Hope you
enjoy your first visit to LaValle Stadium, but that the
Seawolves don't make it as welcoming on the field for the Tribe.

thanks tribe and welcome to you too... agreed on your
assessment. my concern is replacing what was a very experienced
LB unit. and also some changes on the OL but im less worried
about that. i expect us to be making use of our TEs even more
this year. my ex-boss is a member of the tribe. i hope you
love lavalle and we get good weather for our game.

Big changes on D Line & O Line; there are players who left the
program & left voids on each. They are trying to fill the spots
now; I am not thrilled w one move.
I believe this player would of kick some A this year at TE; he
trained hard this off season & looked really good working with
NFL trainer at home. He would be a great dual threat with Will
       Tye.
This kid got game; & he was on the team last year.

No, Hammer. Valentin was not on the team last year (i.e. will
be a freshman this year). But, ddmd may be referring to Ryan
Julien, who seems to have disappeared from the roster. It may
explain, however, why Valentin's position was changed from LB to
TE. Do I have it right, ddmd?????

No decision on Valentin; I heard he came in heavy 275#; he could
       wind up at Tackle.
Allen Singleton going to Nose Tackle & they are moving Davis to
DE. Davis really put time this summer into his game at TE; he
ran 4.62 in 40 yard dash; vertical 30" & his route running also
improved. Davis was killing it against other athlete this summer
while training with other CAA athletes in Maryland; he was
catching everything thrown to him. It was impressive how much
quicker he was coming out of his cuts & finding open space.
The former Raven player & trainer was impress with his ability
as a big man at 6 ft 8".
He was also one of the better blocking tight ends on the line
last year behind Tanner; he was able to get out in open space &
       keep his Block.
He finally healthy this summer & was playing hurt all last year
dealing with a nagging injury: (This is a tough kid).
I feel for him; he was looking forward to killing it this year
at TE & now to go into the preseason & retrain skills as a DE vs
       TE skills; Tough job.

Welcom Tribe4SF. Can't wait for some football. I hope you all
have a great time in your visit to Stony Brook this year. Should
       be a fun matchup
