insinuating in reference to one of our players transferring out?
I actually signed up today on that Forum under the name Seawolf
nut and ask the same question. ..I'm thinking, if there's any
truth to it then maybe it's Kameron Mitchell

the poster is "farfromtheshow" (Sam Perkins from
onebidwonders.com) our "in-house" league reporter. the guy loves
the America East and has been covering it for years for free!
Very knowledgeable and knows this league inside out so I would
trust whatever he says, and he knows that a kid is leaving but
he cant mention who it is yet because the info is not public

Ryan Restivo from nycbuckets.com told me earlier this season
that he had heard there was a good chance Ryan Burnett would
transfer. Makes sense. There is a log jam at SG between
Mitchell, Roland, Thrower, Braley. Also talked to Roland last
week and he said as of right now the projected starting 5 next
year would be PG: Puriefoy SG: Thrower SF: Walker PF: Roland C:
Warney. Don't know whether to believe him, seems like a small
lineup. None of this post may come true but just some tid bits
of info I've heard for you guys

I could see that line up but with Sturdivant rotating with
Roland. He is big 6'8 and has bulk. We shall see come
November.

If it is Mayo would that open up one slot for another
scholarship offer this year??

Nope!! Sorry, Hammer. The reason someone has to go is because
the transfer in of Lucas Woodhouse into SBU required a
scholarship slot which didn't exist. So, there is no additional
slot open.

Scholarships for all sports are valid on a yearly basis. If
there is one player on the team last season who didn't deserve a
scholarship - it was Mayo. He was God-awful last season.

I agree. Mayo was the worst player on the team and is probably
not a Div1 player either, but, do we know for sure it is Mayo?
This is all hearsay at the moment. Can a school actually revoke
a players scholarship because he does not live up to the teams
expectations Athletically ?? Sounds Barbaric, no????
