#1 Maryland vs. SB 3/8 1pm at LaValle

Can wait for this one...the boys get a full week to prepare and
60 minutes of non stop effort is going to be a must.
Raffa, who coach call the best in the nation is a beast on
draws. Rowe will have his work cut out for him. Amato is
saving at almost 70% which is unreal.
Hoping for 45 and Sunny...the weather has be brutal so far

The Terps are on fire. Theyve knocked off two #1s already in
this short season. Big, talented freshman class. The defense
held Duke to 6. The best faceoff mid in the country. An AA
goalie. And then there's Chanenchuk, who Duke nor Cuse could
stop.
Last year was ugly, losing 13-7 down in College Park. But, we
were all freshmen, and had faceoff woes. We are at least a year
better. As much as we struggled last year- we didnt let any one
Terp run away with a huge game. Nevertheless; they did the same
to us and won big.
We need to build on the second half against Duke and the
positive three quarters we played against Rutgers. From what i
read on Laxpower, in that fourth quarter against Rutgers we
finally put a team away. Its a tall order, so we need to play
tough and win faceoffs. GO SB

decent first Q so far, 4-1. we hit at least two pipes and amato
made some good saves. we are starting johnstone in goal
(freshman and arguably 3rd string) and luca at close D (soph
faceoff mid). so considering its #1 maryland, not bad.
maryland threw the ball away at least three times- unforced.
and two 1st quarter flags on SB didnt help. also coach went to
the well early with the 2nd mids in the first quarter.
