I heard that Albany might get 12th seed.. apparently there's
more talk about the Albany / SB's mascot scuffle than the game
itself.. missed that in the 1st half..

Honestly, we're where we should be, going to the CBI/CIT.
We choked the game away by doing what doomed us all season, poor
shot selection, not working the ball inside, poor
substitution/timeout selections, and giving other teams too many
opportunities to get back into the game.
It could be much worse. We could be in a spot like Maine/UNH,
where winning 8 games is a triumph. I've all but given up on
going to the NCAA's. Just get me to spring training and i'm
happy enough.

I couldn't agree more. 1000 point scorer for both but means
absolutely nothing when it matters most... Ever since Jackson
was suspended for 3 games in the middle of the season for
violating team rules, he's done nothing for the team except
cause turnovers . Coach pikiel should have benched him after the
first half and put in Mitchel..
I could go on and on about all the mistakes that were made on
the floor today but won't, but I will say at some point our
Coach must take full responsibility for his players action,,
ie: allowing Jackson to continue to shoot the 3 ball and not
telling your players to drive to the basket causing AU to foul
you considering Albany was in foul trouble just 5 minutes into
the 2nd half!!!!

SBU is not going to pay to go to a meaningless tournament like
the CBI. We have to look to next season with new and hopefully
more talented faces on the court. Plus how do we fill a 4000
seat arena every night? Stronger scheduling is one. No more
D3 programs , maybe some CAA teams or hopefully a St Johns or
Seton Hall. We did host Villanova and Utah years ago or an
A10 team. The new arena will be fan friendly a great
recruiting tool but we need to almost triple our home
attendance.

We sold out of Pritchard gym on most occasions so I think if we
double our attendance that's still 3200 per game.. You can't
complain about that.... I think by losing yesterday that really
hurt SBB chances of filling up that stadium. This was a
crushing blow to a lot of peoples expectations of SB going to
the NCAA, including mine but, I still have all intentions of
renewing my 4 season tickets again for next season and I think
everyone on this board should do their part and try and talk
friends, family co workers to purchase season tickets. Lets not
lose all faith just yet with this current Basketball
Administration and give them all the support they need for next
season... If we don't make the dance next year I will be the
first one marching into the AD office to voice my concern..
Trust me, People know me and my loud mouth inside that SB
Athletic dept!!!!!!!!

real fans stick around, not just the fairweather fans. during

ditto.. Go Seawolves... only good things to come.. new arena,
better recruiting, more fans. Yes we missed another good chance
to dance, and I am sad and disappointed. but excited about
future and feels like its only a matter of time.

Im in for next season with my season tickets . Not giving up
but yesterday was a setback. Hammer if can maintain 3200 to
3330 for home games that would be great no doubt. I have been
following this program since the dark days when 5 win seasons
were the norm.
