Totally agree... I wish they would release at least 50 tickets..
To be honest I wouldn't mind even waiting outside, on a line,
anything! Just want to get a chance at going to this game.. I
remember taking my buddies to the Illinois NIT game and had a
blast! I could only imagine what it will be like on Saturday.

Its something that we as fans should understand. Its obvious
that it is a tough situation for everyone involved. I'm a huge
fan, and I would love to attend the game like everyone else. But
there is 1760 seats. Albany fans need 350 tickets (and they also
have a legitimate right to complain due to the small amount of
tickets), Marching band has to be in (~100), 200 students must
be in. The rest need to be allocated to those that financially
supported the program throughout the entire year (season ticket
holders + VIPs) whether they are huge fans or not. I'm not mad,
I'm aware of the situation and wasn't expecting to get a chance
to attend. Lets be realistic about the situation. Stony Brook
would love to have 10k people attend the match up if they
could... but the reality is a different one. It could've been
worst if the AE decided not grant us a waiver and play @ Albany.
Next year we will have the arena. For now, lets make the best
out of it and rally behind our Seawolves in the four game watch
parties that are being hosted across the New York Metro area.
Lastly, Go Stony Brook Seawolves!!! Win! Win !!!! Win!!!!!!
P.s: for those that joined the forum the past couple of days. I
hope ya stay around a become part of the SBU fans family we have
here. We need more of you here so you are welcome to post around

Question for the board/ last year Albany, I believe went into
the NCAA as a 14th or 15th seed. If SB wins on saturday. why do
go in at 16th seed?? Is it because we didn't finish in the AE as
#1 seed. Had Vermont gone to the NCAA, would they gotten a
better seeding then 16.. I'm still a little confused on why the
bracketology has SB at16th seed.,

Last year Albany was a 15th seed. The easiest way in my eyes to
look at seeding in the NCAA tournament is RPI. RPI takes into
account a number of the parameters by which you'd typically
judge the quality of a team's resume by. Right now we're sitting
at 162 (20 spots lower than the 2013 Danes and about 100 spots
lower than the 2013 Seawolves). Loses to UNH and St Francis at
home were the biggest hits to our RPI as well as having a SOS at
335(one of the easiest schedules in the country). Even playing
Maine(one of the worst teams in the country) 3 times hurt us
even though we won all three. America East had a very bad year
this year, however, had Vermont made it they would've had an
argument for a 14th seed just like us last year.

Its your ticket. Do what you like my friend. No hard feelings.
Actually, I'm curious to see how much demand would drive prices
up. I doubt $300 would sell in stubhub but I have no doubt
100-$130 can sell which ain't bad for a low major conference
championship
