2013/14: Game 29 - SBU @ Vermont - ESPN3

Stony Brook travels to Burlington for a clash against the Cats,
currently sitting on 1st place. Huge game for the Seawolves as
they strive for another regular season championship and sweep
the season series against Vermont. Probably the biggest game of
the season. Hoping the Seawolves catch a break at Patrick. Lets
go Seawolves
My Prediction: Stony Brook 70 - Vermont 66!

Unfortunately, Vermont by eight. They're the much better team
right now.

Much better team is an overstatement. Remember, we did beat them
at our home this year.. I do agree with you though with Vermont
coming out victorious this game..... Vermont started their
season slow but got better as the season went on.... SB started
out strong but the last month and a half they seemed to have
slowed down and lost their swagger .... They have the talent and
could pull out a win but our starters gotta play their best game
in order to win!!!!

Hammer, of course there are different opinions and ratings, but
today KenPom had Vermont at #61 and SBU and #161. That's 100
spots (out of 351 teams) and quite a difference. I'm hoping for
but not expecting a win on Vermont's home court.

Years of looking at these rankings i've come to the conclusions
they are obscured.. The BPI has Vermont at 97 and SB at 151..I
say foooooooey with these BPI, RPI, KenPom, Napalms etc..
rankings..... LOL!!!!!!

If they go in there and play like they did in the first half
against Maine they will blown out by 20. We have to play a full
40 minutes.

If Mayo starts, I'm not watching this game. It's so stupid that
players (Warney) is dictating on whether he starts or not. I
want McGrew to be first off the bench and hopefully, Mayo is
crazy glued to the bench. It is extremely important that all
Seawolves help out on the boards!

I agree Lax.... Whats the deal with Warney not starting
lately???? and why is Mayo even playing Basketball. I would like
to see Walker get more playing time and drive to the basket more
like he did in the beginning of the season

I think Warney starts. Vermont 's big guys are too good to
match up with Mayo. We need good nights from Puriefoy and
Jackson and Mac Allister. If Walker can drive and draw fouls all
the better. Get Vermont in early foul trouble and keep them off
Warney. Vermont is a methodical team and likes to play slow down
and eat the clock. We ran away from them in January but then
fell into their game in the 2nd half and it almost cost us.
