the game is still on...one of Chris D's buddies called the
school....they were cleaning out the seats this afternoon. 2
       hours to go time.

ok so that wasnt a great start. in short, we didnt take care of
the ball, threw it away too much and put pressure on the
defense. on that note, the defense wasnt as bad as the score
admits; we just play too much defense. i know this is a bball
stat- but we let teams get offensive rebounds and that just
       kills us.
lots of positives though. hughes got off some nice outside
shots. schultz has a nice wing dodge that scored not once but
twice. curry is a nice surprise with the pole. and rowe
dominated on faceoffs. i thought vassallo did well too on ssdm.
       EMO looked good.
we gave up 47 shots. if they had the ball lets say 32 minutes,
thats a shot every 40 seconds they have the ball. were only
lucky that half their shots hit the cage. if we won 20/28
faceoffs, and still gave up 47 shots, something is wrong with
our ball control. clearing needs work, which is not surprising
for a young team in february.
didnt see millican until the fourth q. also no sichenzia? and
       andreassi must still be hurt?

Sichenzia and Andreassi are both hurt and Judge is playing with
a broken thumb. We won the GB game 35-29 but that was all
skewed by the face offs. Marist seemed to win all the important
ones. I pretty much agree with you assessment though. The O
will be fine. The transition D is awful and overalll the D
       needs a lot of work.
Millican (one shift) and Harris with limited minutes...I know
Coach loves Rock but to have him get all the run over Millican
       seems wrong.
Rogers is clearly the leader of the team and Eastwood will get
50 this year. Rowe is the real deal...he can win draws multiple
ways...I still think we need better wing play though. The few
we lost were all turned into fast breaks.

I've got to think that Millican is returning from injury hence
the limited run. He's been one of Nagle's best players the last
two years and just a staple at ssdm.

I hope you are right because he was clearly their best SSDM lase
year. Not to mention one do the fastest guys on the team.

Chairman do you know many one goal loses they have had in
Nagle's tenure. I have not seen them play with a sense of
urgency since he got here. I realize that the D was set up to
fail with all the sloppy play, but why can't they get a body on
someone. Curry was a nice surprise but the long pole play
continues to be unsteady. I hope Milican is coming off an injury
cause playing him for one shift isn't going to cut. There was no
transition gm and not playing Milican had a lot to do with it.

i dont- but its got to be near ten.
i was thinking the same while watching though- we need to take
some body in the crease or when the ball is on the ground.
its early, we have some injuries, but some positives and agreat
opportunity to beat lafayette an pull into .500. GO SB
