This has to be one of the better games on tonight, I'm really
looking forward to watching it. For you, I see a few keys that
       will determine the outcome:
       - FT attempts: Vermont lives on the free throw line,
especially Rugg. You need McAlister to stay on the floor, and
make their bigs respect someone besides Warney inside. I
wouldn't be surprised to see Mayo play a bit more than usual
tonight. If Vermont shoots 10+ more free throws, it will be
       hard to beat them.
       - Voelkel plays big minutes for Vermont, but if he strictly
plays at the SF position, you must attack him with Walker off
the dribble. Because they help so much on defense (and love to
draw the charge), the attacker must be willing to kick out to
shooters. How you guys shoot the 3-point shot is huge, b/c they
will give up that before they give up a drive to the basket.
Also, with constant doubling on Warney, his kick-outs to
shooters will be there as well.
       - Tempo: Vermont wants a game in the 50's, possibly in the
60's at the most. Although they can score, I doubt that they
want to get in a scoring duel with you. Transition baskets will
be key for you, while obviously not allowing them to get easy
       baskets off of turnovers.
       - Guard play: Their guards are not good perimeter defenders,
they rely on team defense/packing the lane. Jump shooting will
       be key for you guys....
No need for me to mention Warney, as it's doubtful that you win
without him playing well. These types of games usually come
down to a player that you don't really think will make a
difference. Looking at last year, Rusin was difference in their
win, and Rouse was the difference in your win. Who is that
       player this year?
Looking forward to a great game....

Two keys for a SBU win tonight. Jackson starts and has a good
night from outside and the FT stripe. Walker comes up big
driving the basket as he likes to do and scores . Warney
needs to be Warney get us 15 or more and we will be fine.

Happy for the win, but it's clear SB and VT are evenly matched.
The season could come down to which team drops a "should win"
       game to another AE team.

What is the tie-breaker if Vermont best Stony Brook next time
out and they have the same record in the conference at the end
       of the season?

Bad coaching by Stony Brook last night with 4 and 2 seconds left
in the game by not covering the in-bounds player with Mayo!
It's amazing how superior my basketball knowledge is compared to
the Stony Brook coaching staff :). Actually, I don't think I'm
       kidding.
