Coach P. better get going with some recruiting for this coming
season. Word is that Ryan Burnett is also transferring, thereby
leaving 3 immediate scholarship slots open!! This could be a
golden opportunity if any really good recruits can be seduced!!

I read that on The basketball Forum too. WOW.. This could either
make or brake Coach P future. Bring in 3 Transfers ready to go,
we go to the NCAA next season. Bring in 3 more work in progress,
he's in trouble, My opinion of course!!!

While it would be nice (and somewhat of a surprise), I don't
think it's absolutely necessary for Coach P to bring in an
"impact" recruit in order for SBU (1) win the AE regular season
and (2) finally win the conference championship.
I think Woodhouse will provide more stability at the point, and
that Kam Mitchell will be a pleasant surprise this season, as in
double digit PPG and 40%+ shooting from three.

Agreed. I actually think this is a great opportunity to bring in
transfers that have to sit next year. Also wouldn't mind a
couple freshman to balance out the classes.

Next season.

It'd be great to see a Jameel Warney or Tommy Brenton level
recruit added to the roster. Hopefully Coach P will pull it off.
Realistically, to quote an earlier post, we'll see a few new
"works in progress". However, I do believe Woodhouse will be the
impact player we're all looking for and that some of the current
"works in progress" will continue to develop. (I should add that
every year I'm convinced that the Jets will win the AFC East.)

Judging from the lack of news, I'm guessing that Coach P's
travels to London and Virginia didn't pan out as hoped. Any
hints as to a Plan B for attracting some court help before the
season?
