say something amazing about SBU's game last night against
Detroit (unless I've missed it under another topic)--and on
their own home floor as host of the tournament!! What an
amazing performance by Warney! He's simply phenominal, and I
hope we get to enjoy him for another 2+ years.

SEAWOLVES!! This should be the big year.

I spent all my energy on twitter and AE board. But yeah total
domination from Warney!!! He is in beast mode.

In-game strategies lacking a bit? Amazing

When you have Warney in a total destruction mode, you give him
the ball at every possession. You instruct every one to continue
to feed him. Yet we saw Walker taking shots that Warney should
be taking.

For the first time I'm actually worried about losing a player to
the professional ranks. Sh*t, it does not feel good. That
selfish feeling that wouldn't want me to lose a guy like Warney
early on, but this guy is amazing. The things that he is doing
as a sophomore are way out of this league. What a huge pickup by
Coach Pikiell!
and how about that buzzer beater by Jackson. Just when I thought
all hope was lost, Jackson brought it back. Lets be honest
here... Stony Brook is not known for being the buzzer beater
type team (Yes, I know about Joyner's tip-in... but still) but
Jackson's three was huge. He's been playing great overall, I'm
glad.
I feel good about our team... and so what that Vermont took Duke
and coach-K to the end... we have a great team of our own to be
happy about.
Lets go Seawolves!!!

Two years or so ago we would have lost that game by 12-15
points. This team led by Warney and Jackson can be not only
dominating but never quits. We used to have scoring droughts
especially down the stretch where we couldn't buy a basket.
Remember two AE Championships games - Boston U and Vermont.
Both ended in losses as we shot in the 20's percent range. I
think our best defense this year is our offense led by Warney.
Last night was one of the best games the program as whole has
played .
Interesting side note. Last year when Warney signed Coach K
yes the Coach K said he was a true ACC Big Man and the
StonyBrook program would have a star. Don't if Duke was after
our guy but he was 100% correct. He is too much for the AE and
he seems like a real great kid. Hopefully the NBA leaves him
and us alone the next couple of years.

There's is absolutely no way Warney is leaving early for the
NBA! Next topic.

Actually, I didn't exactly mean the NBA. It could be any league
that offers him a great paycheck (but idk if kids are willing to
leave early for another league other than the NBA?!?). If this
guy keeps playing as good as he is you never know if he leaves
after the end of his Junior year. Probably very unlikely, but I
hell hope we don't lose him

As much as I like Warney he is not NBA ready... For starters he
has to improve his Fouls shooting. 58 % won't cut the mustard
when you're not a superstar in the NBA !!!
