captain , I hear you but, this is 2 games in a row the brooks
got into foul trouble in the first half...... Jackson has 36
points so far in this game. WOW !!!

here is the reason why we are having foul trouble this year.. It
all has to do with the new NCAA defensive rule change for 2013..

The coaching staff has to step up to the foul situation.
Listened to Bobby Knight explain how he got around too many
fouls. Made his guys defend in practice with either their hands
behind their backs or straight up in the air. He wouldn't let
them put their hands and arms in a horizontal position. Use your
body to defend not your hands. His foul problem went away.
This can be coached into our guys. If I believe the NCAA
scoreboard we gave up 103 points today. That's 193 points in 2
games -you cant win like that. The next 2 games aren't going
to be easy especially Detroit .

when i was at SB, this is what our coaches taught us on the
lacrosse field. use the feet, not the hands. they would either
give us a 1 foot long shaft to hold, or, they would weave our
longsticks in between our arms behind our backs. you really
learn to rely on the feet.
maybe the temporary fix is to stop fouling the higher % foul
shooters?

Rationale for new rules is to increase scoring? Typical game
from last season had 125 combined points scored...don't see how
that's too low. The more baskets that are scored, the "cheaper"
each one becomes (same with life in general). I much prefer a
low scoring game when a shot has to be worked for.

was a Conference USA team so a nice win on the road !

warney is a monster under the boards. also impressed with his
ability to dish the ball, great vision. detriot is shooting
from the perimeter really well. now if my giants could score!!!
