Could this coach has been anymore ungrateful! Hey, her last two
games she was embarrassed in losing by 24 point to our hated
rival followed by getting destroyed by 38 points in the NIT.
I'm sure we will find a much better coach very soon and in two
years O'Boyle will be looking for a job a the junior ranks and
getting paid 25K a year.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on this one, laxnation.
I think Coach O. did a fantastic job in her short tenure at SBU.
She started with a program that could only muster a 4-win
season; then built it to where it accumulated 14 and 24 wins in
the next two. That's pretty amazing stuff IMO. She saw an
excellent opportunity to move up in her career (and I'm sure in
compensation), and she grabbed it. I can't fault her for that.
Let's just hope the next coach is as effective, and can take the
ladies to the next plateau.
By way of info, according to the job posting, the deadline for
applicants to submit for the job is tomorrow (May 16th).
Coupled with the coming on-board of the new AD, we may start
hearing some rumors soon.

She did a good job turning around our Ladies. They moved up
quicker than the men under Piekell in the same time frame

Word out of SBU is another new womens assistant has been
hired. Announcement very soon maybe Friday. Our new coach is
not wasting time.
