2013: Game 9 - SBU vs Richmond 11/9

The season is rapidly coming to a close as SBU attempts to
finish the season in good footing. Despite pretty much being
eliminated from the playoffs we still have a lot to play for
(winning record, beating albany, and getting ready for the 2014
season). Lets come out and watch our wolves battle Richmond, who
defeated Albany the previous weekend, and look for our fourth
win of the season. Early afternoon game so get there early for
some tailgating. The season is not over. This weekend is gonna
be a jam-packed weekend of Seawolves athletics with basketball
opening the season.
Show the pride. Lets go Seawolves!

Looks like whatever is ailing Poteat is a lot more serious than
originally thought. He's off the depth chart again for the
Richmond game. The good news is that Eugene is listed as the
starter at WR, so he seems to have recovered from last week's
problem.
Although the playoffs are gone for this year, I'm still hoping
to see the team do well against CAA opponents for the remainder
of the season. I really believe they've shown flashes of great
play--especially on the defensive side of the ball. On offense,
I'd really like to see the OL play more up to their potential,
and certainly (as I've said many times on this board) would
welcome seeing much more of Tye and Level this week.

I believe you will see more use of the 2nd string players in the
next 3 games; they need game time experience going into next
year. I look forward to seeing the 2 back QB Carlos & Connor in
the in the next 3 games.

I agree with others, lets see if some of our current RS frosh
and others can get some game experience. we should be able to
handle Richmond fairly easily. ???

Richmond wont be easy but this is a winnable game for us. They
were National Champs only a few years ago but have fallen
quire bit. Like to see Fredericks get more carries he is a
beast and Wagner in the slot
he a caught a pass at Maine for a modest gain.

I think SB will try to pound the ball on Richmond; they have
decent secondary against the pass.
Richmond throws the ball 300 yards a game; we will need to play
tight coverage. It will be great weather for football.
