hammer, I sent a couple of emails to the Communications Director
in the Athletics Dept. they responded back to me on one of the
emails saying that they would do a better job with the cameraman
action. as for the overall quality of the video, I complained
to them about that also, pointing out the great quality at
Colgate, but have not heard anything back on that one. maybe
some thing is in the works, probably for next season. ???

I talked to someone in the athletic department regarding the
video. Colgate was given money from the Patriot League to fund
their video stream. No such luck from the America East and/or
CAA. This is a venture that, if done right, costs tens of
thousands of dollars. It's just not something that can be done
over night. That being said, they said they'd do their best to
make it as good as can be.

I do remember last year i was at the SB basketball game sitting
next to the Espn camera man and i asked him why the video
quality was so poor and not brodcast in HD. He reaferm what
captain just said. They are broadcssting in HD but its up to the
university and local tv stations to broadcast it in HD . I
assumed it was a money matter. Its always about money isint it !

O.K., Hammer. Give me some guidance here. I go to the website
and I can't see any reference to the SBU/Maine game being
televised. I even went to the Fox Sports 1 TV schedule page for
11/2, and don't see the game listed. What am I doing wrong??

I just E mailed SB Athletics for more information on that Tweet
they sent out about Saturday game. Yea, I cant find much on the
Fox Sports network site either !!! Ill inform everyone when I
hear back !!
