       2013: Game 7 - SBU vs New Hampshire 10/26
By: ecasadoSBU Date: October 14, 2013, 9:54 am

After a big win at Colgate. Stony Brook takes a bye week and
gets ready for the second half of the season against CAA which
as of now includes three top-25 teams. First up on the list is
New Hampshire. New Hampshire is ranked in the TSN 25 and
demolished Rhode Island 59-19. They will face Villanova next
week before coming to LaValle Stadium.
I'm hoping we can pull this upset, it would a big win and can
get us near the top 25.
       LETS GO SEAWOLVES!

UNH is always a power house. We played them a ways back up in
New Hampshire they pounded us 62-7.

those were different times (2006 with limited scholarship
offerings) but UNH is no doubt and FCS powerhouse. It has shown
incredible consistency year after year with consecutive trips to
the playoff for more than a decade

I think If we were playing them with all our starters then we
win, but with some of our top guys out on defense and Coker on
       offense I don't know....

Even though they got crushed, going to a Clemson Football game
and Tailgating for 10 hours is something I've have never ever
experienced in my life. This was my first big school Football
game I've ever gone to. Unreal how many people actually show up
to a tailgate.. It was estimated over 150,000 people was at
Clemson on Saturday and tailgated. They really know how to do it
down in the south and the University itself is beautiful.. The
seminole fans were actually very respectful to the Clemson fan,
very classy.... I think everybody should experience something
like that at least once.. My bro invited me to the Maryland/
Clemson game next Saturday but, I still cant disappoint my
Seawolves back home.. See you guys next week at Lavalle and we
WILL ROCK THE HOUSE AND SMOKE UNH !!!!
       [/quote]
I saw the game. Clemson indeed got crushed but the commitment
Southerners show for their college teams is impressive. More
than 80k fans showed up for that game, I can't imagine being in
such an awesome atmosphere. I definitely gotta go to one of
these games in the future. With that said, man I feel bad for
the tigers. They definitely took themselves out of N.C
contention with this loss. It seems like every year they are so
close until that big loss comes up. Maybe in a few more years.
Still cannot understand how the SEC has so many teams ranked.
Its amazing the SEC bias in College football. Mizzou in the top
5... you gotta be kidding me
